Now this is a great product. I put it on a dog in which now is a one year old boxer brindle German. Hyper as all get out all the time. I put this on and he is very calm, walks nicely. Otherwise he’s always pulling His way. Now he’s walking nice and I usually put him on a long rope to play out in the yard, so I take this collar off of them and just hook them into his other chain type collar so I don’t show him that it’s the same way on a rope than it is on a leash. They say that this leash mimics the mother’s job of her picking up the puppies when they are young and I guess they understand this and you think that you are hurting the dog, but they’re not gonna pull to where it’s extremely tight once they feel this collar tighten up then they slow down.. Like I said he’s one years old and a male and we’re not too sure about getting him fixed yet because he is a purebred German brindle. Get it, you won’t be disappointed.

Way to go for a dog that needs to get leash trained. Regular collars just choke the dog, which is bad. A harness encourages to pull dragging you along, sometimes on your belly... Training leashes that pull the head sideways don't work well either. With this collar, they learn in a hurry not to pull. You will just need it for a few days and you will have a trained dog!

I had a problem with my dog pulling , walking in front of me. I love the quick release collar and with this collar they know what is expected of them. It does not hurt them it mimics the mother dog correcting them.

We absolutely love these collars for our dogs. The quality is incredible with no sharp edges. The functionality and training ability of them is phenomenal. They are easy to remove without harming your pet. They are adjustable which we love. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of how difficult it is to readjust them to a different size. Otherwise they are amazing and allow us to walk our dogs with ease. Would buy again!

This collar works great. I was a bit concerned by some reviews but honestly it is better than our Sprenger collar. The latch on that one would sometimes come undone. We have had no issues with this collar.

We have had one of their each of my dogs until it got all tangled changing the length. This on is awesome because it has the clip to lock it and not have to figure out how to get the links back together.

They say it should last for years but it doesn’t. I purchased mines last year. My one year old blue nose pitbull (not fixed) broke through is collar while chained up, after seeing stray female blue nose. Luckily, I was able to get him before he attached himself to her. Had I not been out there, my dog would have been running loose in the streets playing lady and the tramp. I just upgraded is tie down system including a new 25ft cable, and heavy duty carabiners just the day prior. See pics below. I expected higher durability from this item. Other than this major incident. Product for the most part is reliable.

Having a Amstaffy/pit can be a challenge if you don't have a good collar. Tank is 90lbs of love trained and a good boy but he is 21/2yrs old which is teen and he can become aggressive when he sees another dog the prong collar he was wearing started coming loose easy to disconnect prongs. After reading the reviews I chose this one. So far it's only been a day and the only problem is it is turning the white around his neck grayish. But it is stronger than the one I had and I love the crasp making it easy to put on and off I also like the cushion tips for the prongs. I had to remove 2 to fit his neck and the instructions were clear and easy, I was able to do it myself. I will wipe down the collar hopefully that will keep his fur white. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5
