The only reason this isn't 5-star for the price is because the description says quite.This fan is not quiet! Ok so it’s quite for a fan, but not silent, and you expect some noise. The instructions aren’t the clearest this is true. Simply unscrew the nut from the centre (it’s attached at the start) and put on the inner side of the fan casing. Next put on the fans and then screw anti clock wise with the outer nut casing supplied in the box, to tighten. Next put on the outermost fan casing and clip into place. Keep the screw at the bottom and use a screwdriver to lock into place. Really simple and took me 5 minutes. Comes with guarantee too.

Powerful with 2 settings. Quite quiet

If I could give less stars I would. So loud and noisy like a motorbike. Then stops and starts to the point you have to turn it on and then leave it for it to come on by itself after a few minutes. Obviously past return stage. My old fan lasted almost 10 years and I couldn’t even get a full year out of this as this is my second one. First one stopped working pretty quickly and they replaced it and now this one has an awful smell coming off it after it stop start time!! Horrible!!

Item was a little light weight but works fine except a bolt off screw was missing for securing the fan
