Finally I found the perfect monitor
I tried two monitors from Amazon PD series from BenQ and an ultrawide from LG. Both had low brightness and their pros and cons. I wanted to get a perfect sized monitor for coding and YouTube and Netflix. This one fits and checks all the boxes. With its almost glossy screen contrast is amazing with ips black, huge difference as compared to others like PD series from BenQ. It has amazing dci p3 color gamut produces amazing colors and with 4k 27inch great text clarity while coding. It's little pricey but worth every penny.

If it is Dell; it has won my heart
I bought this monitor to compliment my earlier Dell P series 19-inch display.I love this feature-rich USB C-docking station monitor as my daily workstation display. I use it connected to a laptop in a dual-monitor setup OR hooked to an iPad, turning the Apple tablet into a highly dynamic computing machine for everyday use. With colour calibration, the display's performance has enhanced many notches for photo and video editing and soft proofing of magazines and publications. This is a perfect purchase if you are looking for a dynamic, feature-rich, extremely cost-efficient, and excellently reliable display for the long term (over 8-10 years).

I bet it’s a great monitor but doesn’t work well with my Intel Macbook Pro 2018
I wanted a colour accurate monitor for editing videos and photos. Everything’s great about this monitor; the only problem was that my Intel Macbook Pro 2018 model couldn’t handle 4k resolution. I researched about it and found out that there was some issue with Mac OS scaling. Apparently, Mac’s hardware/software has to do extra work for displaying 4k content as compared to 5k. But if that’s the case, I think there will be slight improvement if I get a 5k monitor and nothing drastic because Macbook will be still doing a lot more work to push those 5k pixels. So I guess, for my Intel MBP a 1080p monitor will work the best.

Incredibly color accurate monitor.
I am fortunate to find this monitor under the 50k. You won't believe but its value for money ... The pixels are great and they provide clear and sharp text. Blacks are good like they have mentioned 2000:1 contrast. I compared this laptop with an OLED display of laptop and I got amazed with the color production of this monitor. The visual are almost same on both laptop screen and the dell monitor. The only thing is the contrast ratio disappointed me like OLED . But for a 50k it's just a machine which is for every graphics designer and video editors.

Please be clear on who is responsible for defects while buying costly items on Amazon
I received a defective piece. A green vertical line stays on the screen permanently. Although Amazon says, I can return it, When I start the process, it does not allow me to return it until Dell certifies it is a defect. I called Dell and initial they offered to replace it with a refurbished item (Take full price and give refurbished one). If I need a brand new it may take up to 15 days to replace it. I am insisting on a brand new and hopefully they will provide a brand new.1. I understand any item can be defective. But this clearly shows that quality checks are not performed properly.2. I think after I purchase an Item and if it is defective, I would turn to seller first. But in this case, Amazon has clearly passed on the burden on me and I am not at all happy with it.3. If return is not possible for a defective piece why claim I can return it within 7 days, I don't understand.4. Wasted lot of time and mental stress to get the process going. Talking to amazon, then dell etc. Still not sure when it will be done.Overall, I am deciding to go back to to physical stores for any expensive items.

The BEST colour accurate monitor in the price range!!
I’ve had the BenQ PD27 monitor in alternate consideration along with this monitor. Apart from the lacking speakers, everything else felt like an advantage in terms of picture quality as well as price. The Delta value is <2 which is better than the BenQ PD, as well as DCI-P3 is 98% compared to the 95% on the other one. I believe there is small amount of bleed on the edges, but barely visible at most times. The display feels premium and I haven’t felt more satisfied with a monitor purchase before.

If you know you know
You probably already know if you need this or not, if you’re here. It’s a highly color accurate monitor (dci-p3). So it’s good enough for most design/creative work. Check YouTube if you want. It’s expensive because of the p3 color support. Most cheap lg monitors don’t support it. Is it crucial for creative work? No. I bought it for the same reason I use a macbook - long lasting obsolescence-proof purchase decision. There are some LG monitors in a similar price range as well. Go for those if it’s cheaper, I don’t see any real difference. I bought this cos I trust Dell slightly more.Lots of cables in the box, you won’t have to buy anything else.
