Based on reviews I knew what to expect. It is small and flimsy-ish, but it’s worked well enough on my kids and husband. On the small side for my husband, but his head fits and it still catches most of the hair.Good price.

I recently purchased the Hair Cutting Capes Umbrella for myself, and it has been a great addition to my home barber kit. It does an excellent job at keeping hair off my clothes during haircuts, which is a huge plus. The cleanup is a breeze as well; just a quick shake and wipe down and it's ready for the next use. The only drawback is that it can be a tad uncomfortable around the neck, but it's a minor inconvenience compared to the convenience it offers. Overall, a solid buy for at-home haircuts.

I've been using this product since 2019. I use it when I cut my husband's and son's hair. It's been tossed around the closet, but is still in great condition. It's easy to use and makes clean up so much easier.

The cap serves it's purpose but cleaning hair out of it can be a challenge. Not made for broad shoulders.

It’s very small!!! If you’re buying it for a child, it might be okay, but it’s very flimsy, and I don’t think it will last long. I have long hair with bangs, and about every 3 to 4 months, I go to the salon for a haircut. The problem is that my bangs always get too long, so I trim them a little at home. I bought this product because I don’t like the idea of trimmed bangs falling onto the sink or bathroom floor, no matter what I lay on the floor while looking in the bathroom mirror. The size is much smaller than expected, and when I double-checked, I found that it was labeled for both adults and children, but it’s actually a child’s size. Since I only plan to use it for trimming my bangs occasionally, I decided to keep it, but if you need something more substantial, I wouldn’t recommend buying this.

I needed this to catch hair as I trim the back of my hair with clippers. I can see that this will work. The “support” straps are not adjustable but I realized they didn’t need to be if I just let the “cape” droop down to its set height. It hangs higher than I expected (based on previous experience with another model) but it still will catch the hairs and allow your arms/hands do what they need to do to cut the hairs. I started cutting my own hair during Covid. Decided it was better to be annoyed with my cutting skills than the salon stylists as my mistakes were FREE, as she charged me for her styling “errors”. Yup.$$$

It was good until it wasn't. After just a few uses, this thing just got all wonky and bent into another shape. The part that suppose to be catching the hair is no longer shaped the way it came. I will not buy this kind of item again. :-/

I bought this almost 2 years ago. Still use it a few times a yr.
