I recently purchased a compact pistol with fixed sights, and the same color as the slide. I couldn't distinguish the front or rear sight when pointing at a dark target, which wasn't helpful!After researching the many options available, I bought this set of acrylic, luminous paints. I bought the set of six different colors, to provide a wide range of options, and because the additional cost versus buying one color was minimal.These paints work better than expected. They are easy to apply, and are thick enough to go on accurately using just a toothpick, instead of a brush. The paint dries quickly and is odor free.After painting my new pistol's front sight in neon orange color, I went back to the range and could easily pick up the front sight against any background. I fired 100 rounds, came home and cleaned my pistol, and the paint remained clear and bright. Even if I have to eventually re-apply more paint, I've got enough for probably 1,000 applications.I also painted the sights of another pistol which came with white dots on front/rear, and used contrasting colors on the front and rear sights. Much better sight acquisition!While this paint is advertised as "Glow In The Dark", I don't really care if it works or not. My duty pistol has tritium sights, which are really the best option as you don't have to shine a flashlight on them to get them to glow.So if you're looking for an effective and inexpensive way to paint gun sights for all around shooting use, this acrylic neon paint is a very good option.

These are awesome I am go glad I got them. I do mixed media collages so these really made them so much brighter!The paints are so easy to use, By just taking a finger a piece can go from ok to awesome!

I painted metal postbox and it worked well and even in rain it’s intact. However I didn’t see the glow like radium that’s why 4 star

Great presentation. The packaging is perfect.The plastic paint bottles are far from being flimsy like most paint bottles.Very sturdy.Directions for usage are great.I followed them exactly as instructed.Put painted items in direct sunlight not for just one but two days.Nothing happened.I then put on a second coat as suggested.Put outside for three days.NOTHING, not even a slight glow.I was so impressed by the packaging I was sure it was going to be a great product.Looks can be deceiving

These contain more paint as I needed, as I use regular acrylics for the base painting and only use this as accepting over similar colors.For glow-in-the-dark, it required the use of my high-powered UV flashlight to charge it fully. Once it is "charged" it glows fairly well with just light or a simple blacklight.Even without charging, the glow under the blacklight is great.

This is what glow paint is supposed to be. I highly recommend this product.
