replacement key chain remote for genie gpt1 Firefly3 390GED21K3

Well, it works with my old Genie 12 dip switch door opener and it is a nice small size; However, when you open it up to get to the battery, it is obvious that it is cheaply made. The printed circuit board is not seated firmly so it is free to move around which is not good if you plan to keep it in your pocket or for any other mobile use.I am going to use it on my motorcycle (in a waterproof cubby) so time will tell if it holds up to the vibration and rigors. I guess if it only lasts a few years it will be worth the small price paid.

UPDATE 11-10-2018: Unit started working sporadically a few weeks ago. I would push the button, but the door wouldn't open, so I had to use my full size garage door opener. Now it doesn't work at all.

Yes it does work for Genie 12 DIP Switch Remotes. The range on the unit is not that great and I have to pull it out of my pocket and hold it up sometimes to get it to register. But it does work and is much smaller than the big old remote.

Works great for my Genie with the switch type code. I bought 2 and have been using them for 7 months now. still good.
