I’ve spent about 9 months in SA and this stuff is pretty good. I’ve tried a lot of different biltong and droevorse here in the US. The meat just isn’t the same here but this, surprisingly, is the best I’ve found. The seasoning is on point. When I see jack links on the label I was dismissive. This isn’t a second rate Slim Jim. I’m on my 7th reorder. It’s not perfect but it’s the best of what’s around.

Delicious.A bit more fat than most biltong.Simple, classic spice profile is all about enjoying the beef.In my opinion, excellent value among packaged biltong.

As far as I'm concerned this is the only legitimate biltong available in the US. Just like in South Africa!

Biltong was started by the Voortrekkers in South Africa during their ox wagon trip from the Cape inland to what was formally known as the Transvaal and Orange Free State provinces of South Africa. They had to preserve the excess meat they hunted along the way, so the preserved it by using vinegar, salt, coriander and other spices they had. The meat was hung to dry and became known as Biltong. It had a saltier taste than that made by Mr. Botha and his company. I know this as I was born in South Africa and was taught to make biltong by my Oupa (Grandfather) who was in turn taught by his Oupa.

This company sold out to jerky corporation Jack Link. The product now tastes completely different and is nothing like traditional biltong. This was my favorite mail order biltong until now. Steer clear if you like a traditional juicy fatty air dried biltong. This is no long it.In fact please order and give an honest rating so we can run this former great biltong into the ground.

The biltong tastes really good. The only problem I have is that my last two orders the biltong is sliced a little too thin. I don't know why they changed it as the previous slices were perfect.

I just want to say I am overly impressed by the quality of these meat. it comes in a fresh pack every time and it's great to have it closer than from the other side of the world. Really love what you guys are doing! I have told many people about you and hopefully, you have gotten more business! Thanks for staying consistent! What would help is having a little packet with seasoning for the individuals that really love salt!!!
