Even if your cat has been sick a long while this might save its life or, if not, at least make its last days more comfortable by subduing the infection. I'm speaking from experience here. But the sooner you can use this after symptoms begin the better. And I want to add one more thing unrelated to this product. Dental issues can cause the above symptoms so adding a dental additive to the cats' drinking water to clean their mouths is a good step toward health. I recently purchased Dental Fresh and my cats accepted it at once. They know it's there and I've even added it right under their noses. I see them drinking water more frequently now. It's not addictive--it must feel good and certainly hydration does.

I have a dog that is sort of picky (probably as picky as a cat). I use a mortar to break up the tablets and it it in her food. For a dog that is pushing 13, she has gotten so much more active since taking these. What a wonderful product!
