Works exactly as advertised. Better than the external hard drive for the xbox as you can download games onto this and be able to play them without having to transfer them. Its also very compact, which is ideal.

I've had an Xbox Series S for about 2 years maybe 3 now. And for the entire time having just 500gb of storage was a struggle. Sacrificing multiple games I enjoy just to play 1 or 2. I finally got tired of it and bought this. First off, over $100 for this tiny thing is crazy. Second off, making it so that we HAVE to get this card or something very similar just to have more space is also crazy. Can't use any external hard drives because the system doesn't support them. That's the rant part now the review. If you still have the Series S 500gb you can either get this for more storage or get a whole new console. I opted for the drive due to how expensive the consoles are. Its literally plug and play. Just to be safe though check your xbox for any system updates and close all apps before inserting. Once inserted it'll be immediately available to use. Its a good card and whatnot and I am happy I finally got it so I can download more than 3 games on my console however the price is still wild. Should be at max $100

Buy the larger 2 tb one. But i actually think you can get some third party name brand ones to work like seagate. .
