I took a chance on this but I have to admit I am very pleased - it is obviously a real rose (unlike some reviewers have suggested that it might not be) - you can see the veins in the leafs and it was well made, no flaws, beautiful presentation box (and gift bag) included with lots of protection from shipping damage - mine arrived in 100% excellent condition. My wife liked this much better than the typical dozen red roses (although she got those too!) and hinted that she would enjoying have a collection of these so we shall see.I do have one small concern: the plastic base, while very nice, is simply not heavy enough to insure the somewhat top heavy rose does not fall over - the slightest jarring or breeze could easily knock it over. The actual base part needs to be heavier and the method of securing improved, so I took off one star for that but I am otherwise very pleased.

I love this!!! Beautifully done, LOVE the color, the weight and material is amazing!!! Completely worth the money!!! I just didn’t like the stand, it did not hold the rose in place, it kept slipping and leaning to one side so I bought this other vase and it fit PERFECTLY and looks so much classier!!!
