Great Value for live players!
I have a Voyage Air Guitar (the one from Shark Tank that folds in half) that I love the sound of, but didn't have any electronics on it. Needing some type of live solution, and given how portable the guitar is, I looked into a bunch of different pickup systems. I landed the this pickup given how reasonably priced it is, and all the reviews I saw online were nothing but positive.Installation is pretty straight forward if you are handy. Journey provides most of the tools you'll need to get the job done. If you are worried about drilling into your guitar, please take it a local music shop to have a guitar tech install. I ended up needing a step bit, and 1/2 inch drill bit, and of course Loctite so secure the piezos to the wood. I wouldn't recommend using anything other than glue to install the piezos. They work on direct contact for best results. Tape will SEVERELY ruin the sound. Again, if you aren't comfortable doing this, take it to a guitar tech.To fish the connector through the pin hole, I ended up taking a 1/4 inch studio headphone plug, connected it to the pickup system, and pulled it through this way. This was the hardest part of the entire install. I tried with a guitar string but for the life of me, I couldn't get it to come through. The golf pin and mini chopstick was such a good idea! Not sure why other people had issues with the cardboard jig. I had it down after two attempts but your miles may vary.I plugged it into my DI Box on my desk and was amazed with how good the guitar sounded (hence why I'm typing this. I was that blown away). It sounded exactly how my guitar sounds in the room. I now have an ultra portable guitar that is ready to go for live use. I will be ordering another set to install on another acoustic I have for a backup.

Installation issues, but they work!
Won't know what they sound like or if they even work, I have a couple broken bridge pins, new ones coming tomorrow. This review is all about the installation and issues I experienced. Not too hard but not as easy and smooth as the video makes it seem. Was super careful and dry fitted the piezos not once but twice. The first 2 glued in place fine. The 3rd one felt good with the guide sticks and glued up, only to find that it blocked one bridge pin hole so I had to push a drill bit thru the hole to break it off and reposition it. Keep in mind you're doing this totally by braille, even with the hole guide sticks that come in the kit, you have to go by feel and cross your fingers. The other problem is I had to unscrew the inside jack cover almost all the way back for the whole jack to stick out of the back of the guitar far enough per instructions. Only maybe 3 rings of thread left on the inside end of the jack for the cover to grip. The actual problem is that the piezo mini plug is too big to go into the end of the jack cover to connect to the plug. The cover is aluminum so I drilled the end opening larger for the mini plug to fit thru. One other thing to note, the plug is bent a little at an angle making it even more difficult to connect. I didn't want to try to straighten it out and possibly break it. They maybe should state these issues in their instructions, or make these to fit for different models like my Epiphone Hummingbird. Now I just hope they work or back to Amazon they go. 3/27/23 UPDATE, after all that, they work perfectly and sound great! The issues I encountered weren't all that hard to overcome if you're handy and somewhat mechanically inclined. The misplacement of one of the piezos was my fault, I got it right the 2nd time. I'm changing my review to 4 stars, you just need to look out for a few things that I encountered when you go to install them in your guitar. These pickups are a great deal!

Very happy with this pickup.
I have this pickup installed in 2 of my guitars. I am very happy with the sound and performance. Before installing this pickup, I thought the lack of a factory-installed pickup in an acoustic guitar was a strike against the guitar. Now I think the opposite. Factory-installed pickups are sometimes junk. With this one, you don't have to uninstall anything before installing this one.

Oud Installation
Easy installation. Sounds warm. I put this in an Oud which has nylon strings and wire wound over nylon strings. The only thing is the template won't work to find the the locations. I used the gummy substance that came with the kit and I am able to move any one of the pickups until I get the sound I want. You can use the glue when you find the best locations if you want.

Excellent value and sound quality
I installed these pickups on a beat up Taylor Baby that I converted to a slide guitar I was trying to keep the costs low on. I was blown away by the sound of the guitar. I don’t have a reference point with K&K’s, but these are excellent pickups especially for the cost.I can’t speak to the installation as I had it done professionally, I am pretty clumsy with this type of thing and didn’t want to risk it.
