We ordered these seeds to grow in our back yard ...
We ordered these seeds to grow in our back yard in Arizona. The seeds came on July 19, very ripe with pulp still on the seed. Per the instructions I soaked them for 3 days and removed all the pulp before planting them. Because of our climate here, I felt that I could plant the seeds where I intended them to grow, right from the start, and avoid having to transplant them later. So, I dug five 5' post holes, lined them with craft paper and filled the tube with a mixture of mulch and sand, and planted the seeds on July 23. They were watered by a drip system daily, and the weather is consistently over 100 degrees. Yesterday, 9/18 we saw our first sprout... as promised... 8-10 weeks (or longer) from planting. To purchase 1 small Bismarck Palm here in Phoenix costs $299, so this sprout just paid for my $20 investment into the seeds I purchased from this seller. I eagerly await the other 4 sprouts!

Seeds no good
Seeds arrived quickly but upon placing in water, all 10 seeds floated. Even after 3 days in water still floated. Eventually cut a few open and no embryo or endosperm. Dry rotted seeds. These seeds were definitely NOT fresh or recently harvested as advertised. Seller Ignores messages. Do not buy.

Awesome and Quick Germination!
I ordered two packages (20 seeds) and the seller actually sent me 24 seeds. The seeds came already cleaned and moist in a bubblewrap bag. I planted the seeds on top of store bought garden mix moistened with rain water and pushed them about 1/2 inch into the soil. Pots were covered with plastic and left out in direct sun to "cook". After only 2 weeks, 3 of the seeds germinated. Another 2 days and I have a 4th seed germinating. Thanks for this great product and I will definitely buy again!
