Works great for what I needed it for. I knocked off the star because the packaging is not great. It does not seal properly so I added it to a container so not a big deal.

used it for cleaning out the disgusting toilet tanks of my new rental. the tanks were corroded in mildew and mold. threw a cup of the citric acid in a gallon of hot water. no need to boil the water but you can if you'd like. regular hot faucet water is fine. turned off the water supply to the toilet. flushed to drain existing water. poured the gallon of citric acid / hot water mix into the empty tank (adding a bit more water to make sure the tank was filled to the brim) and left it alone for 3 hours. came back to a crystal clear tank. no scrubbing required however, as I was thoroughly disgusted with the tank, I did use household cleaners afterwards for a double cleanse -BUT NOT NECESSARY. now I just use the citric acid mix every month to maintain the clean. MAGIC!

It tast great on fruit or if your candy isn't sour enough just don't ear to much it will burn your tongue

This citric acid is good, dissolves, seems pure -- what else to say.

I bought this in hopes of making my own dishwasher detergent. It didn’t work for me, but I also have a really old dishwasher so I think that contributed to it not working. If you have a new dishwasher or have other uses for this product, then I say it’s a good purchase! The bag is very small as well.
