yes they could. it blocks out any bad UV lights!

Q: Can anyone tell me if the lens scratch easily?

No, the lens really good and Frames are lightweight and comfortable. Highly recommend for a quick and easy fix to anyone who works on a computer a lot or under florescent lights.

Q: Can these be worn over prescription glasses?

Probably not comfortably. They wear like regular glasses, I wear them all the time when I'm working on the computer and it has significantly reduced my eye strain.

Q: How can these block blue if they are clear? the test with the card only shows uv being blocked as blue is visible. what wavelengths are blocked?

they do block the blue light even if their clear. dont know what wavelength are blocked
