These are perfectly suited for what I was looking for. I had initially ordered the harder plastic ones on Amazon, with the pull tabs on them. I wasn't very happy with those, and had to modify them to actually fit in one of my switches. I had not ordered these as I was hesitant as to how difficult they would be to remove. Once I ordered them, I realized how wrong I was. These are incredibly simple to remove from the port. I'm keeping the other ones I ordered to use in a pinch. These will be my go-to port covers.

These worked great to protect the unused ports on my Ubiquti Dream Machine Pro when mounting it on it's side. They fit easy enough, and seem to fit snug enough that I don't have to worry about them falling out. Would recommend them.

These represent an excellent solution for a very small problem. The rubber dust covers fit snugly into ethernet ports and I'm quite comfortable they serve their purpose well (in this case protecting a switch installed into my garage workshop serving networked devices and some ethernet jacks connected through my attic). A tab allows for easy removal.

This are really great to put in RJ-45 ports to keep dust out. They are soft, easy to install, and remove. Have a device you just want to make sure you don't use the wrong port on? These are good for that too.Get a couple of dozen for home and a few hundred for the office.

These things are great. Snug fit, easy to remove, and get the job done. Best plug/dust covers I have ever found.

They do exactly what you want them to. Made of soft rubber and fit in port well. No excessive overhang, so you can put them in a switch and they don't interfere with surrounding ports.

Good quality, though a bit higher-priced compared to other options
