Perfect
I play in my high school marching band (5th year on the bari) and also in jazz band. I always played some crappy plastic starter mouthpiece and actually took a gigantic leap in quality to this otto link. It was a very easy transition from my old mouthpiece and the piece of hard rubber is really comfortable. I play on a Rico Jazz Select size 4 hard and this thing played beautifully and was easy to get a loud fat sound out of, PERFECT for jazz and outdoor. Especially great out on the field when i need to be heard because i'm the lone bari sax (to heavy for others xD). I was even told to lower my dynamics because of the power this thing had, and i never get that in a band of 130. Anyways, don't disregard my comments in this because i'm young and in high school. I listen to a lot of professional bari sax players and have heard the different tone qualities. I can tell that this is indeed a great mouthpiece! You can literally never go wrong with an otto link, no matter what, there's just so much quality put into these. They've been around since before my grandpa. One last thing, many players were saying things like "oh, you cant play that for concert band, its a metal mouthpiece", but while i was playing it, it sounded very warm when i changed my embouchure and played softer. It sounded completely suitable for a concert band environment and overly suitable for my jazz band. I LOVE THIS MOUTHPIECE, and i know that this is a career quality mouthpiece that i will always have with me.

powerful
It has lots of punch without being hard to blow. I noticed that during a recording session. The attack was powerful although the sound could be "thicker", it could have more body if you know what I mean. I'm using regular #3 Vandorens with my standard Jupiter Baritone Sax
