So worth the price to take away some flies
I purchased the refill to go in the bottles that I have and it works amazing so I will continue to order more refills .if you have a fly problem like it it will help solve it .Disclaimer it does not smell good so put it away from your house some but it’s worth it in my opinion picture below of flies on the bottle and it’s plenty going in

Impressive Results in Just Days!
We set this fly trap about 30 feet from our outdoor living space, and within two days it had already caught hundreds of flies. It’s made a huge difference—barely any flies bother us now, even when we’re grilling or eating outside. It’s only been up for a week, so we can’t speak to long-term effectiveness yet, but so far we’re very happy. Highly recommend

Economical and it works
It attracts fly's because the bait stinks. I'm happy with the product. It what it's designed to do. Attract and catch fly's. I especially like that the container is a one time purchase. The bait packets are refills. This makes this a very economical way to somewhat control the pesky fly's that are so bothersome. One thing you must do is after you have added water to the fill mark of the container, open the package and place the bag in the water. Place the container far enough away so you don't smell the odor, but close enough to be attracted and caught. I've used Rescue Pop fly bait for a couple of years now and have had no regrets. When it's time (a few days or week or so) I empty the nasty water and dead fly's. Make sure to wear throw away gloves, and start over. I have tried similar type products, but keep coming back to the Rescue Pop brand. It consistently works better.

Works
This definitely works. I believe it works best outdoor and not indoor. However, after a couple of minutes, it stinks. It literally stinks like a septic tank. It smells like sewer and that is even without any flies inside so you can’t have it outdoors when you have guest or even dwelling outside yourself. You can keep it outside when there’s nobody going outside to trap the flies like I said it definitely works, but it smells really, really, really bad That’s the only reason for me giving it four stars and not five star one star took away because of the smell but definitely works

Amazing OUTDOOR fly trap !!!!!
live in the country and flies are horrible. Yes this stuff stinks bad. it is NOT meant for indoors. The amount of flies it captures is amazing! you need to place it away from your doors, windows or your personal space. The flies will go to the trap,

Stinks, which is how you draw flies
I Mark II 5 stars because it is smelly. It's supposed to be smelly, and if you actually read the instructions it says it's for outdoor use only. That being said, while it was "ripening" I kept it inside since we had a few flies inside. I obviously have a fly issue outside, or I wouldn't have flies inside. As I was letting it ripen inside, it is drawing all the flies into the area where I have it fermenting. I guess fermenting is the right word, it definitely smells like nasty bread.I got it setting open in the house per the directions for a little bit under an hour, and we have about five flies in there already. Does it stink? To high heaven. But flies like smelly things. almost all of the flies in the entire house are now in the jar, and I'll be moving it outside just shortly. If it works as well as this company's sticky trap that is blue and green and white, we won't have any flies in the entire neighborhood in a few hours.the one thing I have noticed is my dogs are prone to want to mess with it. So make sure if you're going to utilize this particular item that you put it up well away from pets in the yard.it says it's non-toxic, etc, but I can't imagine that it wouldn't make even a dog vomit if it ate it. It has a pretty strong smell to it.It's super easy to use, though. You open up the one little packet and inside of the one packet is another. You pop the inner packet into the jar and fill it with warm water up to the fill line, you open up the top where the cone is, and you're in business. It is definitely not hard.it is not immediately ready, though. It says on the box that it takes two to five hours for all of the ingredients to activate. And I am noticing a much stronger smell even after just an hour. I did notice that I had better results using warm water than cool water, so I would make that recommendation. I don't think you'd want hot water, as it seems to be some kind of fermentation process. You could technically kill off the yeast or whatever is in there by using water that was too hot.

Vastly fewer flies
Used it to catch flies. I have horses. There can be a lot of flies around horses. These traps catch a LOT of flies. Don't know why they want it rated on scent. Yes they stink. If they didn't stink, they wouldn't catch flies. They are used outdoors not indoors, so I don't find it to be that much of a problem. Cleaning out the reusable ones and resetting them is gross, so if you don't have a strong stomach for that sort of thing, use the disposable ones and just throw them away. Both work equally well in catching flies. With the reusable ones, you do have to buy bait refills. I'm not sure what is in the bait, but it is not toxic. Early on, I had a disposable one fall as I didn't tie it up well. My dog discovered it first and tore it open and ate the bait. I called the vet, I looked on the Rescue! web site, it is harmless. My dog is fine.
