Works right out of the box just plug it in.
I bought a Sofirn SC21 flashlight a year or so ago. It is very bright and worked wonderfully well for maybe a year until the 16340 Li-ion rechargeable battery ran down, and the flashlight stopped working. The USB cable provided to charge with didn't want to work for me and I did not have a battery charger. This charger was similar price to new batteries so I took a chance at seeing if my flashlight battery was still good to recharge after sitting for so long. Once I plugged it into the charger it was only 3 - 4 hours at most before it was fully charged. This was a very good purchase.

Great product
Exactly what I needed and was looking for. Have a couple special flashlight batteries that I lost the chargers that came with them. One battery in question is only about an inch or so tall while the other is almost 3in. No problems at all. This is a trickle charger so don’t expect hour. I put it on, went to bed, was fully charged in morning. Highly recommend, especially for price, quality was much higher than expected. I don’t understand what other people that complained were expecting lol diamond studded?? Great product. The only thing I have to recommend to anyone getting it, make sure your battery sits flat inside the charger. The contact on bottom is a little point and needs to sit in the middle of the flat part of the battery, oh and it’s + goes on top, - on bottom.

UPDATED REVIEW: Excellent Customer Service!
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:Shortly after my review was posted, I was contacted by the manufacturer and offered a replacement, as they offer 2-year warranties on their products. Their replacement will be shipping soon, and I'll update my review accordingly once it arrives!Initial review below:Not much else to say besides the title, sadly! I was hoping for a simple, no frills, safe charger and was really disappointed to find that only one of two charging bays works. Both batteries were equally dead to begin with; the issue persists if I swap the batteries. Only the right bay charges.Video is of me swapping the batteries after they both were in full contact with the charger, for equal duration of time—the right battery was fully charged, and the left battery shows no gain of charge.

Perfect for odd size battery recharging
The charger is great for charging my 18640 lithium batteries. The charging channels are large enough for the battery to lie flat and make contact with the anodes. It is small and doesn't need large space when in use. It was shipped promptly and arrived as promised.

Works but SLOW, 700mA maximum, 350 mA for two batteries.
Wimpy charge rate for this $8 EBL 2 battery charger. This is a 700mA charger ... one cell at 700mA, two cells at 350mA. A pair of 5000 mAh 18650 Li-Ion batteries require more than 14 hours to charge. It could be worse. I recently purchased a "Generic" no-name single cell charger (with two 18650 Li-Ion batteries) for $14, but that didn't actually charge 18650 or 18500 batteries. The Yonii single-cell charger is a much better buy. It is $9, charges at 2000 mA (2 amps), and has a 25%/50%/75%/100% display. You can charge a 5000 mAh Li-Ion battery in 2.5 hours, perhaps three in an 8 hour day.If you can afford it, the /deluxe/ Keenstone 4-battery charger is $29 as I write this (2025 Mar), powers from a wall socket or a vehicle 12V adapter, and displays both 25/50/75/100 *and* cell voltage/charge/rate/time per cell. It charges all four batteries at 2A each. 2.5 hours for four 5000mAh 18650 batteries, less than an hour for four Jesspow 1600mAh 18500 batteries.I deploy 18500 Li-Ion batteries in cheap 3-AAA LED flashlights. The 18500s (18mm diameter, 50mm long) fit the same space as the original 20mm diameter, 53mm long 3-AAA plastic holder, IF you wrap around the Li-Ion battery with a cardboard business card,to keep the battery centered.I plan to purchase many of the Yonii battery chargers for friends and relatives and business customers, and their flashlight-battery-consuming children. Not this wimpy EBL.

Awesome Charger!
This charger does multiple fod size batteries that you find in things you purchase with batteries already supplied. I bought this to recharge batteries that were in some of my solar lights for outside. Awesome deal! I bought my solar lights were all done and I would need to buy new ones. Yep, when I opened up the compartment the battery said rechargeable on it to my surprise! So I looked up this little gadget for only $7. I could recharge the batteries and keep my solar lights! Give it a try!

You get what you pay for
I bought this charger because the reviews were mostly good and the price was hard to beat. Well, it turns out that you definitely get what you pay for with this charger. I noticed from the first day I had it that the springs that hold the battery in are VERY difficult to move, making getting the battery in extremely difficult. Not only is it crazy difficult to get the battery in, you never know when it's actually charged. The light will show green if you have the battery even a millimeter from where it should lay in the charger. It can be a low battery and show green, like it's full, even when it's not. While the spring holds the battery in place vertically, the battery will roll from side to side on the bottom, making it impossible to know when it is in the correct position. Also, this charger is incredibly slow. It will take all night and well into the next day to fully charge (and that's only when you know the battery is in correctly). I kept it thinking maybe the springs world be a little less difficult to move after using it for a while, but they're not. So now I'm past the return window, but honestly, it's not even worth asking for a refund. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
