The description says roasted, the bag says raw. Whatever - they taste great! I didn't care for the dry roasted ones at all. All the nuts seem to be uniform in size, I'd say large size for a filbert. They have the skins on, which don't bother me at all. Quality is very good! They taste fresh. Good value. I'll buy these again.

The nuts are generally crunchy but there are too many soft, icky ones for my taste. Too bad...the good ones are tasty. I do not know if there is a way to visually differentiate the "yuck" ones.

They nuts were okay, not as flavorful as nuta purchased in the mixed nuts, maybe just roasted a bit more or something. Bit expensive for the taste

This is apparently the 2nd only negative review for this Amazon's Choice Store or seller for the "hazel nuts lightly salted" list.Maybe it just was my unlucky day, but The Hazelnuts I have received Are Maybe Dry Roasted, for sure are VERY Lightly Salted, But Fresh they are Not, for at least last 18 months, that is.These Hazelnuts have a distinct, very pronounced bitter taste, barely detectable saltines, and contrary to the seller's advertising photo shown 2nd with this review, those that I received look the 1st photo attachedSo, no Sweet Buttery Flavor and I doubt they are Healthy Hazelnuts

I love to snack, especially on nut products and mixes... so i was excited to see a company offer 100% hazelnuts to change up my normal almond or cashew routine.I prefer products that are all natural, healthy and free of preservatives so I give this product high marks for being simple and knowing exactly what I was eating. The nuts had a great flavor, solid but not overally hard to eat texture and were very lightly salted to finish them off without overpowering.My only problem was not overeating them when I started snacking as they were just so tasty and enjoyable. The pacakging was also nice as the bag was truly resealable and can be reused.
