Moen Chrome Chateau Two-Handle 4-Inch Centerset Utility or Laundry Sink Faucet with Threaded Spout, 74998

Purchased this to to replace a Hampton Bay faucet. This one is way more solid. It also cost more but you get what you pay for. We use it in the laundry tub and have a sprayer that attaches for washing dogs. This one does have a threaded end on the spout to attach the quick connect fitting for our sprayer.

This is the 2nd house we have custom built and put only MOEN products throughout the house. I like the simplicity of this faucet in my laundry room. I liked it in my last laundry room so decided to order the same one again. Repeat buyer of the same product. Nothing fancy, very simple yet great quality and looks nice. Moen really is the BEST faucet brand in my opinion.

Note that this product (Moen faucet model 74998) does not come with an aerator, even though the instructions in the box say that one is included. Moen acknowledged this when I contacted them.

I use these on bathroom sinks. The spout is high enough and far enough out to be able to actually wash your hands. Spout swings out of the way as needed. I use these faucets with the stainless tailpieces and popup baskets to clean up the bathroom sink plumbing, reduce leaks and complexity.

Moen is a decent brand, yet I find the little things to be annoying. If you are selling a laundry faucet with a spout that has threads, an aerator and hose adapters should come with the faucet. Seriously an extra $6 for them to be in the box, save me from running around to find a good one. The little things !

I replaced a laundry sink faucet that I could not get a replacement washer kit. The replacement washer/valve is readily available for Moen faucets. So I can keep a spare washer/valve on hand and if needed for the many MOEN faucets we have.
