is this dishwasher safe?

Hello Manisha. Despite the fact that the item description states it is 'dishwasher safe', I have to say this is not the case! We bought this item a couple of months ago because our current cutlery had become badly tarnished by the dishwasher and we wanted a dishwasher safe set. The first time we put the cutlery through the dishwasher a few of the pieces came out tarnished, despite the fact that we took the cutlery basket out and dried the items as soon as the cycle had finished. Further tarnishing has taken place since. To conclude I would not recommend this product if you are looking for truly dishwasher safe cutlery! Best wishes, Joanna.
