Fantastic Sourdough Starter Kit!
I recently got into baking sourdough bread and was looking for some bread proofing baskets on Amazon when I found this sourdough starter kit. It came along with some other baking utensils that I didn't necessarily need, but looked nicer than what I had, so I went ahead and ordered it. Let me tell you, I'm so happy that I did! The baskets are very nice and well made, and exactly what I was hoping for! They seem like they are very nice quality for the price. They also come with the liners to help prevent the dough from sticking which is a plus! I'm also extremely happy with the baking utensils and use them all the time when making my sourdough bread now. The starter jar and spatula are so much better than what I was using before! I honestly use all the utensils every time I make bread and am very happy to have gotten them. I find that the entire set has been extremely useful and like I said before, the quality of these items is fantastic for the price! I would recommend this starter kit to anyone that is new to sourdough baking as I feel like this has all the essentials that are necessary for success!

Surprisingly great kit, good quality for the price
This is a great kit. I had some reservations thinking it would be cheap junk, but it’s great. I have been baking for about 8 years and finally decided to splurge on actual supplies (you don’t NEED all this stuff but it helps). The bannetons do have small splinters upon inspection but that’s normal. They won’t come off in your bread, it’s not something to worry about. If you want a banneton free of splinters buy a silicone or wood pulp one, those each come with their own down sides though. The only thing I don’t like is the spatula. It’s flexible enough to work but actually too flexible to use decently in the starter jar in the kit. It’s awkward. Also the elastic band that helps tell you what time you fed your starter is too loose to stay on the jar. You can probably sew or glue it smaller to make it fit, or just throw it away because you really should just be using visual clues to help you know when to use your starter anyway.Great kit, love it. Here’s my first bread I’ve made using the items from the kit.

Great Kit for Beginners
I am just getting started with baking sourdough breads. This is a really great kit for beginners. It has everything you will need to get started. A couple of things I did once I received the kit: It was recommended to initially rinse the bannetons. I did this and used the brush that came with the kit. Water only. Then i put the baskets in my oven ( convection preferred) for about 10 minutes at 170F to dry the baskets as much as possible. Don’t worry if the wet bannetons or your kitchen smells like a barn when the baskets are wet or in the oven; the smell will dissipate once they are dry. I then left them out for a number of days to assure they are dry. The rinsing was a one time thing. Otherwise just use the dry brush to clean out the banneton after each use. Its important that the baskets be kept dry and are left to air out after proofing bread. Otherwise the baskets can get moldy and they are no good.I also HAND WASHED the banneton liners, bread bag, and starter jar linen in cold water with mild FRAGRANCE FREE DETERGENT and left the linens to drip dry. Do not dry these linens in a dryer or they will likely shrink. Happy baking!

Nice purchase - Great value for money
This was absolutely a nice purchase, very happy with it! Both baskets are nice and sturdy, no bad smell, and all the side utensils are of great quality. I have to mention the customer service is AMAZING! They reached out to me, checking to see how satisfied I was with the product. They were so kind, I received 2 free gits and they emailed me a sourdough starter feeding log and a sourdough starter baking log - Thanks Ayerphalo Team!Highly recommend this product

Well made. Smallish baskets.
Know that baskets are a bit on the small side. Well constructed and the accessories were nice. We typically bake larger loafs. Passed onto my daughter who was thrilled.

Prefer them 100% over silicone
I used the silicone bannetons and they hold in too much moisture and dough gets a skin pretty quickly in the refrigerator so I purchased these. They’re awesome! Made well, keeps moisture at bay, the loaves no longer produce a skin and the dough doesn’t stick, materials releases from dough very easily and the material is so easy to clean. I won’t ever go back to silicone. Great price and they work perfectly.

Great Affordable Purchase with Everthing I Needed for Making Sourdough Bread.
I always have good intentions to use various purchased items. But over time many items I purchase get recycled. For a beginning making sourdough this set has everything needed. The scraper is a bit flimsy, but the other items were very useful. For the price of this set, I feel okay about giving up on my endeavor to make sourdough bread.
