I literally tried every other one of these and one from Etsy before writing this review. 99% of the others either have a disfunctional compasses or the lights don't have replaceable batteries. This bracelet has a completely unique clasp and the adjustable spring is the most low profile of any other.There's one $90 out there with a lot of features not on Amazon, but no LED which is what I find the most useful feature by far.

Looks and feels rugged. Everything works although it took a while to figure out how to use the light and striker. The large face means the bracelet will slide off a small child's wrist. My younger teenage grandson loved it and wore it on the entire trip in the mountains. My older grandson wanted one just like it. We all loved the LED light which could flash SOS. The whistle was amazingly loud. Read the instructions carefully to learn how to use all the features.

I gave this 4 stars because it seems to be as advertised or better. I have had this only a short time, but it seems good.The light works great and the compass works and seem accurate on both of the bracelets I ordered. Time will tell how the compass holds up. The fire starter sparks good after you get all the coating off and are able to put had pressure on the rod. I like the slide on to put the bracelet on after you have it adjusted. It seems a good value, but I bought it for only a last ditch survival item and novelty. A real survival kit is a must in the wilderness not just a bracelet!!

The paracord bracelet is as by my expectation. It has the right thickness which makes it very sturdy. It’s small flashlight is very useful in the dark and guarantees you will always have a light with you. The whistle is very loud and can certainly be useful if you ever get lost for someone to hear you. All the other gadgets on the paracord certainly does what it is design for. My only complaint is for someone like me that is small, the paracord is a bit loose for my hand. You can only adjust it so much which is not much at all.

Upon opening the packaging and trying on one of the two bracelets, the clasping mechanisms on one of them stopped clasping effectively and hasn’t correctly fastened since. The flashlight is pretty bright and has worked fine so far but button has stuck a few times already. We just opened these 24 hours ago.The compass did not initially spin on one of the bracelets when first out of the package but it ended up working just fine after shaking the bracelet around a bit but the next day the compass was reluctant to work on a consistent basis. Seems like it’s more of an approximate reading rather than an accurate reading.The supposed flint piece was easy to get out but in the razor isn’t so easy to get to. In order to get the razor/knife part out you’ll need a sharp, small, pointy object. My boyfriend and I actually had to dig out a pocket knife to assist us with getting it out which obviously defeats the purpose. Once we got it out, we tried to create a spark with no success. Whistle works fine. All in all I would not recommend this product. You’re paying for a cheap light and a whistle on some string.

So my husband is 6’2” and 180lbs. He has huge hands and works with them every day. He fancies himself a bit of a survivalist in training so I got him this as a little side gift to go with his birthday present.It is HUGE! Like his fist is bigger than a grapefruit. We are talking jaws hands and this was too roomy on his wrist. He could easily twist it and that sucks because you certainly don’t want to have to fiddle with your bracelet when in the wilderness needing to check your compass. That’s the 3 star reason here. I don’t find it practical for that reason.Everything else omg he band works great but it was just too big. I feel it should fit like a watch. Never mind if you have smaller wrists. If you do it would be completely useless to you. It’s a novelty gift for sure but if you are looking for practicality then look elsewhere.

Came in working just perfectly.I read reviews of others not having the LED-light working, but mine worked just fine. You jut have to pull out that piece of plastic to activate the light.The whistle is nice and loadThe LED-light is nice and brightI haven’t used the flint fire starter, ( I heard you have to scratch off the black stuff first to get it going)And I’m not too sure about the compass.I’ll have to learn how to read a compass to know if mine works or not.But overall, 2 for about $10 is pretty good deal.It’s nothing professional or anything, but I honestly think it’s pretty decent.( also a decent gift for people who are into this kinda stuff too and for outdoorsy type of kids).

Item arrived on time, packed well in good condition. Item is adjustable, waterproof, with battery protection strip in place. Instructions are pictures and could use some verbiage to clarify but overall tells the story. Really like, have field tested and it performed well.

Have this as stocking stuffers. Awesome price and good quality.
