Got this set to keep our kiddos (2, 5, 7) busy indoors during the winter. These are nice and solid and I expect them to hold up well. That being said, they are hollow-bottomed so could get damaged if they are abused, ie flipped on their sides and stepped on. The rubber grips on the top and bottom are nice. The leaves are thicker and heavier rubber than I expected. My only minor complaint is that because they are made to be sturdier, the plastic underneath the logs does not allow them to stack for storage. Only the stones stack. These easily hold up to 200 lbs weight, can’t speak to more than that.

So far we've had our Step-a-Forest for over a week now and my kids absolutely love it (as do I). We home school and have in home therapy services and I had been shopping a stepping stone set for my kids to practice their balance and imaginative play. After searching and searching I wasn't sure about anything until I came across the Step-a-Forest set by Edx Education. I have nothing but positive things to say about this awesome set. It arrived nicely packaged, all pieces came in their own plastic sleeves. The vibrant colors are really playful and draw attention to all of the pieces. We've been using these so far on a tile floor and the little rubber on the bottom edges of all the pieces grip the floor nicely, keeping all of the pieces in place during play. The stepping surfaces of each leaf, stump or branch has strips or circles of rubber to help give a better footing. The quality of this product has me extremely satisfied (very durable), not to mention the two very nice storage tote bags to make storage or traveling with this set super simple. My kiddos are 2.5y, 4.5y and 7.5y and they all equally love this set and there are enough pieces they can all play at the same time. They absolutely love creating their own trails, and they love the challenge of keeping their balance. My 2.5yo has gained so much confidence already, having gone from needing to hold my hand, to stepping up on each piece, and now trying to walk from piece to piece. This is by far her most favorite activity these days. My 4.5yo and 7.5yo enjoy playing by following each other and encouraging one another. I'm really happy I chose this product over anything else I found online. Item shipped quickly, and I had a great customer service experience with the seller. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Well worth the price I paid. Daughter loves this toy and plays with it for 20-30 minutes at a time.Pros:- Sturdy - holds 173lb adult just fine, but I would not stay in 1 place long.- Light weight and easy for my 2.5 year old to move/reconfigure by herself.- Has grips to help with slipping on top and bottom of the stumps and logs.- Stumps nest and stack for compact storing.- comes with storage bag- leaves are thick and stay in place on the hardwood wellCons- logs do not nest only stack- unit takes up way more floor space than anticipated (est 10-12ft end to end without the leaves)- grips are not quite big enough on the logs to keep them from slipping on hardwood floor if the child steps wrong (as in on the side not the middle)

So sturdy and they loved it immediately. Hours of entertainment and so well made, I’m sure they will last. Reconfigurable to do lots of different types of obstacle games, and my kids figured it all out on their own right away. Love the storage bags too.

I run a dance studio. I love this Step a Forest for our student's dance classes. They students love obstacle courses and this product lends itself so well in obstacle course because you can use in a variety different patterns. The Step a Forest is great for teaching students balance and coordination while challenging them with a variety a floor patterns.

Love the rubberized strips for no-slip fun and the bags to store them in!

What a great indoor gross motor skills toy! Great for getting some bigger muscles going when it's too cold/rainy to go outside for long. Bright colors, sturdy construction, and just plain fun.
