Price check; Sound quality check; control check!
I shopped for quite a bit to find this item at the price point and quality. I occasionally listen to classical, jazz and original cast and soundtracks, so I needed something that was wireless to go with a new bluetooth turntable and wasn't in the audiophile range of $$$ or more. This is great. Charges quickly, easy to use, pairs nicely with the iphone, and there are controls for EQ! Can't beat that. It hasn't been used outside but it works fine in a 500sf living room and you can move it around so that works. Price, sound quality, connectibility and control. All for under $75.

Great little speaker
I love this speaker. It's exactly what I needed- portable and durable with decent sound. I also like that it's resistant to dust and water. I plan to use it in the backyard or when camping or traveling, so I like that it can endure some exposure to the elements (within reason). I did get a case for it and recommend one for some added protection. The battery life is decent (it gives you updates every time you turn it on and when it's running low when you're using it), it was easy to set up, and the sound quality is great. My only complaint is that I wish it was voice activated. While you can set it up to link to your Google Assistant or Alexa, you still have to push a button to talk to it. In the era of just yelling whatever you want at a speaker that is always listening, I found that to be a bit cumbersome since I don't always have it within reach (based on the sound quality, you will find that you want to place it somewhere in the center of a room where you can get the full effect, so it may not always be in front of you to push the button). However, I've just learned to control it from my phone instead and don't think it's worth taking off a star, because that's not what it's supposed to be. Overall, for the price, this was exactly what I wanted, and I highly recommend it. While you can get any type of Bluetooth speaker these days, this is absolutely worth the price.

Worth it! Premium sound in a small package.
After years of experimenting with various Bluetooth speakers, I finally decided to invest in the Bose SoundLink Flex, and I can confidently say it was worth every penny. This compact speaker has completely redefined my expectations for portable audio.Right out of the box, the SoundLink Flex exudes quality. The rugged, soft-touch exterior feels durable and ready for any adventure, while the sleek design is undeniably Bose. But it's the sound that truly sets this speaker apart. The audio performance is astonishing for its size. The bass is surprisingly deep and punchy, the mids are clear and detailed, and the highs are crisp without being harsh. What truly impressed me, however, is the PositionIQ technology. The speaker automatically adjusts its sound profile depending on its orientation, whether it's standing upright, lying flat, or hanging by its utility loop. This seamless adaptation ensures optimal sound quality in any situation, a feature I've found incredibly useful. The battery life is excellent, easily lasting through a full day of listening, and the Bluetooth connectivity is rock-solid. The IP67 rating provides peace of mind, knowing it can withstand dust and water, making it perfect for outdoor use. While the price point is higher than some other Bluetooth speakers, the Bose SoundLink Flex delivers a premium audio experience that justifies the investment. If you're looking for a portable speaker that combines exceptional sound quality, rugged durability, and intelligent features, the Bose SoundLink Flex is a clear winner. It's a pocket rocket of premium sound that I highly recommend.

Works Well in the Garage and Backyard
I wasn’t expecting much from something this size, but it does a good job. I use it out in the garage when I’m working on the truck or sanding down wood. Doesn’t take up much space on the shelf and still fills the place with sound. The bass surprised me the most. It’s not going to shake the windows, but you can feel it. I dropped it once on the driveway by mistake and thought that was it, but it didn’t break. I rinsed it under water after a weekend of dirt and dust and it still worked. One time it didn’t connect right to my phone, but turning it off and on fixed that. Battery lasts the whole afternoon which is good enough for me. I use it way more than I thought I would.

Great product from BOSE
You can’t go wrong with the BOSE name. I have a first generation Soundlink Bose speaker that is still working fine, although the battery life isn’t very long anymore. I wanted to get a new speaker that I could take anywhere easily, stays charged for many hours with great sound quality. I am not disappointed with this new speaker. I like that when I turn it on, it states how much charge is left (it will state “battery 80%”) or whatever the case may be. I also like the fact that I can synch up two of these if I decide to buy a second one. The 1st gen won’t do this. I also like that the plug port is MUCH easier to use than the 1st gen. It pairs easily to all devices. I am no expert in sound quality, but I do know that this little speaker packs a solid pinch…for me, anyway. The sound is rich and full and can be turned up really loud. I got the pale sage green color, and I love it. For the price point, this is a fantastic little speaker. I would buy it again.
