Brightness, quality, and size are exceptional
Exceptional quality flashlight! The brightness is intense enough to light up the interior of the Blige of a submarine and help you locate even the smallest screw. Despite its impressive power, it's incredibly compact, fitting easily into any pocket without weighing you down. Highly recommend it to the rest of the crew!

Edc29 seems solid. Hopefully the buttons are better than the edc27.
The edc29 is a solid upgrade compared to the edc27. I've used it at work a few months now. It's a little bigger in size by comparison due to the upgrade of the illumination. The lockout mode is its own switch which is awesome. The battery life is great and the light settings work well. Very simple to toggle between brightness modes. At its current price it seems worth it.Hopefully the buttons don't fail like my edc27 did.

To help you pick what light to use
The seller is great and they will warranty your light if need be.The light is great and is super bright and good for a distance out to 100m in my opinion. The strobe mode is great for a self defense scenario.I would recommend this light for mechanics any day. I like to compare it to the stream light wedge. You get life time warranty with the stream light. Good battery life with both lights the stream light is thinner the the night core so more compact. The stream light takes the win for ease of use. When I have people the edc 29 they struggle to use it. The only complaint with the edc 29 is the pocket clip don’t allow the light to go deep enough for my the stream light has a deep pocket clip. 3rd pic is the stream light and the last 2 is the edc for compression.

Super Bright, Very Compact
I just found my new “in the car” flashlight. This is small and as bright as you would need.It gets hot if you run super bright and takes a while to cool off. That makes me wonder about longevity with heat soak.Paracord is snug but does its job.Customizable light settings.Feels sturdy. My other Nitecores have lasted for over 5 years.

Guaranteed to produce flashlight envy
While this flashlight is not inexpensive, it offers top quality and insane performance. A great value for your hard learned dollars. Heading the turbo button never gets old.

Very Bright and Easy to use
The light is extremely bright on the highest settings but obviously cannot sustain them for more than a short while, the standard 1200 lumen mode is more than adequate for most tasks, battery life seems good and I like the physical lock slider since I keep the light in my center console and don't want it getting turned on accidentally. My only complaint would be that the plastic parts feel a bit cheap and the metal feels kind of thin but I'm sure it will hold up fine overall.Really I just bought this light on a whim to compare it to the Olight Arkfeld Ultra which is not as bright as this light but is a much nicer light all around and slightly more useful with its additional uv light, laser pointer, and magnetic end.

Wow, that’s a lot of high intensity LED’s
Lots of reviews about all the details of this EDC light. I really like the big button can be programmed. After reading the instructions several times I have programmed the small button half press for 15 lumins, the small button fully pressed at 100 lumins and the large programmable button for full intensity with strobe. Full intensity has a temperature limit that auto reduces intensity to prevent damage or fires - this thing gets really hot really fast. If I use full power with strobe, bad things are happening.A physical slide switch locks out the buttons from turning on at all. I’m looking forward to using this flashlight daily as a ride share driver. I need to illuminate the back seat after every evening ride. It feels solid and rugged. I have plenty of USB C charging cords for other equipment in the car so recharging with the same cord is nice.
