Avantree C81-Gaming (2025 New) - USB C Bluetooth 5.3 Adapter for PS5 & Gaming Consoles with Low Latency & aptX-Adaptive, Wireless Audio Dongle Transmitter for Headphones & Earbuds

Works well with my Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones. The only drawback is the initial connectivity. I have to select it in the systems' sound settings, every time I start my PS5, even when the default sound device to the Avantree bluetooth device. Suspect the bug in Sonys' system setup, but I'mnot 100% sure.. However, it's well worth this inconvenience.Through this device, the sound quality is excellent. Microphone quality is excellent, both outgoing and incoming audio.I don't notice any lagging playing on games such as Sniper Elite 5. Very good price for what it offers, especially getting away from the proprietary Sony headphones. Haven't tried it on earbuds. I suggest leaving a message to Avantree if you need to be sure your headsets or earbuds would function with this.

Paired quickly to my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones using my PS5. Audio quality is extremely clear, much clearer than when I connected my headphones to my controller using a headphone jack. Came with instructions but they kinda don’t have to be read since you just plug it in and pair your headphones to it. You just have to know how to enter pairing mode with your specific headphones. With mine I had to press and hold the power button until the blue light flashed quickly and I heard a voice saying it was in pairing mode.

Update: After a month of use the unit has stopped working. It connects and then stops. It won't even power on sometimes. Great at first, no it's junk.This product works well with the PS5 except for one part: it doesn’t support microphones. It uses the controller microphone for chat. This is the only thing keeping it from 5 stars.

Excellent. Works well with my bose open earbuds. I had to return different brand ugreen because it kept making me pair it each use with PS5. (Stupid) I order this dongle instead and I couldn't be happier with it. Works as advertised!

This fixed all my issues with connecting headphones while playing my PS5. I previously had to adjust my TV's sound settings to reroute to a fiber optic connection to allow for a wireless transmitter to send the signal to my headphones. With this product, I just plugged it in, followed the SUPER EASY instructions provided by the QR code included and my headphone issues were gone. I could adjust the sound settings in my PS5 for stereo/mono sound, too. If it doesn't come on right away, which it didn't until I adjusted another setting in the PS5 settings about "sound output", all you do is press the button on the front and the headphones connect immediately. Stop spending money on items that don't work, like I did, and buy this. All my headphone troubles disappeared. If anybody is wondering, the headphones I used are Soundcore Anker Life Q20 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones.

It works well with my PS5. I paired it with AirPods and a pair of Bluetooth headphones. There is a noticeable amount of latency though, especially if you’re playing something like a shooter game. The sound of the gunshot is clearly delayed when compared to using a wired connection. Overall it’s a little overpriced.

I'm using this unit for dual audio on my Pixel 6a Android phone running Android 15. I was able to pair two bluetooth headsets to the adapter after plugging it into my phone, and now my wife and I can listen to audiobooks together on walks.It's not as good as pairing one phone - I clicked the pair button on the adaptor and then paired headsets, but I don't have any visual interface, One of my headsets also displays a lot of skipping, so I'm trying some others to see which are most compatible. But still, it's a lot better than nothing!

Setup was easy but for whatever reason audio output just fine but microphone audio input does not work at all. I’ve checked my console and game settings - and the other headsets work. But I bought this to make my AirPods work with the PS5 and that hasn’t worked. Maybe it’s fixable. But the manual provides no help.
