Love the helmet and color scheme
This dude is bada$$! Love the helmet and color scheme! The shoulder pad is kind of loose though, and the robotic prosthetic arm is kind of fragile looking.

Good buy for a good price
One of the things that really makes Halo: Reach a blast for me is just the shear level of customization you have over your Spartan's armor; something I enjoy particularly is mixing and matching various pieces to find the right fit for the right game. This is something I feel this figure does very well. It has a pleasant color scheme and a nice variety of pieces to help individualize the figure from other basic models, and comes with an impressive weapon. The details on the armor are practically a perfect copy from the pieces from the game (excluding the necessary liberties with the articulate points) and the paint job is superb. While I've read in other reviews of botched paint jobs, there didn't seem to be any unwanted or discolored pieces or areas on the figure I purchased, but that probably boils down to the individual product you get. The flexibility of the figure, like all of McFarlane's Halo figures, is impressive. The 28 articulate joints give the figure makes it excellent for posing or play, and considering the cost of some of the other Halo: Reach figures, is a fairly good price.Onto the cons. While the figure I purchased had no visual flaws as far as I could tell, the robotic right arm being thinner and lighter, is considerably more fragile than the left, and could break easily if pressed too hard. On that note, I had a difficult time trying to fit the massive rocket launcher it (somewhat inconveniently) comes with into its hands out of fear of snapping the arm or hand off; I had to exchange the gun with a DMR from one of my other Spartans. Another con is the limited articulation of the right arm. The wrist of the hand in particular is incredibly thin, and is also without a joint, making the elbow and shoulder the only pivotal parts of the whole arm. And should you desire to switch out the right shoulder pauldron for something else, that too is out of the question, as the arm itself has the peg that the shoulder piece slides onto, while most other shoulder pieces have the peg on them, making them all incompatible with that arm.In summary, while this figure is a highly accurate and articulate toy built as an "action" figure, I'd recommend a more "eyes only" role for it due to the infirm nature of the robotic arm. Considering the price for a figure of this quality though, it's still a worthy addition to any collection.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ACTION FIGURE BECAUSE IT CAME WITH A ROCKET LAUNCHER WHICH WAS GREAT. MOM THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS GREAT!

My Son LOVES this Action Figure....it is NOT for younger children.
My son has had this action figure for a while, and it is one of his favorites. We are, however, going to have to purchase another one. We had a gathering and a younger child broke the figure's robotic arm off. This is due to the robotic arm being so much thinner and more fragile than the rest of the character (as has been mentioned before). Just a word of warning that you really need to pay attention to the age range on this character as it is not durable enough to be played with by younger children. My son is 10 and knows how to handle the figures, but the under 4 set, not so much. I would probably say the under 6 set probably not.Other than lack of durability it has brought a great deal of joy to my son and he has had many battles with this figure. I imagine he will have with the next as well.
