Have the right wire for the metal ear welding.
I bought it to weld the body metal on an old muscle car. I couldn’t seem to get it tuned in, probably cause I’m not a welder, but something broke on my lawnmower and it worked great on that. My lawnmower is fixed. A deflection plate where the blades are broke and a blade was actually hitting it. I was able to pull it off and weld it and it did a great job. As far as I’m concerned it paid for itself the first time I used it because that plate was more than the welder.

It is what it is
First time mig welder and I am really disappointed in flux core wire.Splatters everywhere and makes a mess and makes a weld that doesn’t look very good.Giving 3 stars because it does what it is supposed to do but is not pretty by any means.
