Wide and waterproof? Take my money!
It really isn't easy to get wide and waterproof shoes without spending a few quid. Had to order these a few times to get the right size but the perseverance was well worth it.They are a really ridgid shoe with very little manipulation of the foot so a wide toe box is essential. However they are comfy and feel incrediblely secure.Definitely waterproof and do their job on slippy forest trails. I would say your feet ache a bit after a day of wearing them, mainly as the foot is so supported, movement is limited and can feel a bit like cramp after you take them off and stretch. All being said, that's not major given the benefits they provide. I had to size down by 1.5 sizes, and they still have a bit of a gap at the heel but tight lacing will secure you in.I got these for about £75, well worth up to £100 and I can see these lasting years.

Great
So comfortable! They fit like a glove. If you find Keens comfortable then you’ll love these.

Disenchanted
This is my third pair of Keen walking shoes - more comfortable than slippers, even after 15 miles! However, I do think they split/crack or unravel far too quickly at this price. Add a discernible reduction in length for the same size and I will now be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic discovery
Ordered these after searching internet for recommended wide fit boots ( I have a huge bunion lump on already wide feet .... nice ) They were comfy on short dog walk but their first outing out the box was 8 miles up mountain in lakes - amazingly comfy , superb ankle support , great sole , grip - very lightweight. The quality is obvious - they were properly battered up and down scree but after i got home and wiped them over - no damage / signs of wear whatsoever - I wish i had discovered them before & from now on this is the make of boot I wear and shall buy.You wont regret trying a pair .

Good fit and very comfortable
I am a gardener and I wear my boots nearly every day. I chose these to replace a comfortable pair of Merrell Moab mid goretex which only lasted 6 months before the sole came away. I chose them over a pair of Berghaus Explorer Trek, which I've had before; the Berghaus lasted well but the solidity made them less comfortable and harder to put on and off. The Keen Targhee are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. So far they've proved water tight and enduring but I've only warn them one month since purchasing.Update: Bought in November 2017 - regular use over 2 months - still very comfortable, dry inside and warm.

Great walking boots for wide feet.
Great walking boots, used when taking my lurcher dog up hills in North Wales. Have quite wide feet so wanted something that didn’t crush my toes. Also get sore balls of my feet and these boots have proved to be very comfortable. Grip is good but not quite as good as the Meindl boots I have with Viabram soles (on wet rocks and slippery shale). Have been using them twice a day for last couple of months and found them to be excellent....yet to fully test to see if waterproof, but ok in long wet grass. Got half a size bigger and fit perfectly (usually have size 8.5 so ordered size 9).

Finally a fantastic fit
Have owned lots of different brands of walking shoes over the years, and have found that they all seem to fit until you’ve been walking an hour or so, then your feet swell and they no longer do. These shoes however are specifically made for wider feet and they fit great. Have now walked 20 odd miles in them both on pavement and across country. Finally a pair of shoes that look, feel and fit right 😀

Perfect fit
This shoe is excellent. It is the replacment of what I had for years. I used to have a different model of Keen, Siskiyu. This model is similar, and it is comfortable, has similar feel of my old shoe. It is non-slipary, good width, strong. Seems it will last for few more years again.

Great shoe
Fit well. Seem to hold up well. Look good. They lace snug, but laces were way too long - I replaced them. I use these shoes for hiking and yard work, and they are the best I have found for my skinny feet. Comfortable with all-day use. Good grip. I cannot comment on arch support, as I use custom orthotics.

The best
These boots are so comfortable it's astonishing. They are very strong & well made. The toe is very detailed & not just a strip of rubber it's multi ledged & is beautifully designed. The toe cap feature is what I like & it's functional. These are my new fav. hiking boots & I love way the look with shorts or even casual
