Amazon has had a problem with counterfeit silpat baking mats. has amazon found the source of the counterfeits silpats, and stopped selling them?

Hopefully they are. I also reported incorrect info. If these are real Silpat mats, they should appear on their official amazon store page (amzn.to/2CpjU1F) when you click the "Silpat" link at the top, and they do not. :(

If is says made in France, are they not made there?

The real Silpat will have made in France print on it.

This is a one mat or two?

it was a set of 2 when I purchased it...unless that has changed, it should contain 2 mats...they work great...
