Investing in this SSD helps alleviate the load on the internal SSD, and there's no performance dip. It performs just as well as the internal SSD with instant load times. Good but not quite as advertised
The PS5 benchmark was around 6500 mbp/s as against the 7300 claimed by WD.Other than no complaints. Easy to install. Got it for 11.5k after discounts.

The best part is this m.2 of wd for ps5 shows the total space of 2tb avilable for file storage no system storage has been reserved.
