Okay where do i start. Its not worth £119 for a start. Good bench but having decided to buy one i reviewed many makes. This one kept coming up tops. I had one from argos which made me think all benches were of similar quality. So I went for it. Fortunately the other day on Amazon it dropped in price to £101, I also had a voucher for £25 from Xmas from my employer so it only cost me £76 in the end which I would say is a fair price. I sold my Opti bench i bought from argos a year ago to buy the flybird. The quality is a grave difference meaning the opti feels very sturdy in comparison. I wanted a bench that folds up, the Opti didn't do that. If it did i would have kept it. Real solid bench and great cushion comfort. Anyway having said that I'm very happy with the flybird. Nice looking, it is strong easy to use and quite lightweight, less than 10 kilos i think, so easy to move around. The only issue I have is the cushioning. Its good but would prefer it a little bit thicker. I also now understand the issue with the head support people are saying. I'm 5ft 8 and 75 kilos when doing flys my head is beyond the board. I i still manage to support it enough to exercise with the barbell. Any taller i would struggle. It has a nice feel to the makeshift leather, and the metal feels strong and it is so easy to change position. It is low enough to do step ups which is good, the Opti was too high for that. When doing decline sit ups i feel the leather wouldn't last on the seat part as the back of your knee puts a lot of strain on the leather as its not that thick and i think with a lot of sit ups it will eventually tear. I'm bench pressing 60 kilos and it holds that weight fine on flat or incline. To be honest in comparing the Opti bench to the flybird, the Opti feels like a man's bench and the flybird looks and feels more for the ladies or teenagers. It looks small when I look at it and didn't look at all strong. But it is and feels solid. I think I'll enjoy it, more so that your seconds in being able to change position for whatever you doing. And it folds so easy and fits in the corner. I gave it 5 stars as it is a good bench for beginners, and it does look good and feel nice.

Best buy on Amazon this year for me
I had to leave a review as I felt like it was needed as I've had to give up my gym membership due to having a baby, and this bench has been waaay better than I expected.I've got a couple of sets of dumbbells and needed a bench to do incline press and somewhere to rest my legs for Bulgarian split squats on. This bench is so easy to put up and store away, I'm very pleased with it and would highly recommend if you're thinking about working out from home more then give it a go.It's probably slightly shorter on the back rest than your typical gym bench but I'm just above average height in UK and it's fine for me, even if you need to do skull crushers just adjust where your seating position is and it's fine.I was worried that my other half would get angry due to it taking up room but it's foldable and tucks away nicely! Bench is sturdy and seems durable although only had it couple of months. Well worth the buy! 5 stars all round!

Light, yet very sturdy.
First things first; this light unit arrives mostly assembled. The only things you have to attach is the feet and the the front pads. How on earth people are getting confused by instructions is rather worrying; it's not complicated in the slightest.Secondly, the bench itself? Light as a feather but feels very sturdy, can pick it up and move it around like its nothing; the mobility is aces. If after you unfold it, then sit on it and there's a slight hitch? That's just it folding out completely under your weight. After that it's all good, solid and dependable.Folding it up takes under 20 seconds, easy. Why people think it's a hassle to fold I have no idea.My only complaint is very minor; This was designed to be stored flat on the ground. Due to the folding mechanism you're going to find it swinging at the joints and thus certain parts of the frame hits itself if you try and stand it against a wall. However a very simple solution to that; throw a strap a Velcro around the swinging parts and boom; problem solved.Would definitely recommend it.

A really nice budget bench
Really easy to put together, mine is in good shape with all the hinges put together correctly. It's sturdy for doing stationary exercises like bench presses/reverse flies etcIt's very light, which is great for moving it in and out of my weight racks. But that's a bit of a double edged sword, as I wouldn't feel comfortable doing step ups on it, or anything that might shake it about too much.

Works great, takes up very little space
I've done apparently 94 workouts on this in the 8 months since I bought it. It still looks like new, no damage to the stitching etc.It folds up very small (I don't fold it fully because I'm lazy and don't want to unscrew the bottom part every time).I'd prefer it without the red trim, but it doesn't look bad in real life.Very stable (as long as you actually check it's in the right section).I couldn't find another bench online that worked as well.

Strong and comfy
Great for a budget option on a home gym, only just upgraded it after a couple of years of use. Never felt unstable or weak even with 100kg + benching. Easy to change heights so good for super sets.

Brilliant but crap instructions
Great value for the price. Really enjoying using it for weights. Mostly assembled, but instructions for a no self assembly are crap. Especially as they have changed the parts and the instructions don’t reflect that. Typical boy product instructions. Took me 2 hours to figure the muddle. But also glad it’s now useable and ace. But D- for idiots who write assembly and don’t update when parts changed.
