Q: I've brought the pink case will the apple logo from my Mac show through the case

Hard to say really with it being a solid cover could possibly have the logo on the protective case

Q: Do the clips at the front meet eachother or do they sit next to eachother (ie does it close completely, or is there a small gap caused by the case)?

The laptop itself does not fully close and it leave a gap. It is held by magnetism then. The covers are cut precisely to cover each but not all the way to the edge. So the laptop natural closure is not affected in anyway. To answer you question, yes there is a gap. On the bottom cover there are 2 notches at the front, higher than the rest of the cover. this is the only place where the top and the bottom nearly meet. I think these notches are just to hold the bottom cover securely.

Q: Will it work if I only want to use the bottom part?

Yes. The top shell and bottom shell are two separate parts. So you could choose to only use the bottom shell if you wished to

Q: does the screen fully close with the case on because i've tried several cases and the screen did not close all the way?
