Installed this part and the CPAP whistles very loudly. I uninstalled, re-installed attempting to get it to stop. Nothing works. The CPAP also produces a "whoosing" sound. Air leak. I tried the second unit in the package and it produced the same result. I reinstalled the original part that came with the CPAP and it corrected the problem. This was a very, very frustrating experience as it happened when I was ready to go to sleep. DO NOT purchase these parts. They are defective.

These are replacements that I love when I have to replace.It last year though.

I bought these gaskets for each of our ResMed S10 units. Both leaked air unless pressure was applied to the lid. Both gaskets on both S10 units also whistled, so I returned them. If they're ever improved, I'll try them again. There's no other economical alternative--having to buy an entire water tank for $$$.These might've worked if I could've jury-rigged a shim to press the lid(s) closed more tightly; pressure eliminated the air leak and whistle.

The seal is not like an OEM gasket, so there is air leak and makes the machine louder with the air seeping out. If you are a sound sleeper this is probably ok. But if you are wearing a CPAP, you probably aren't.

Purchased for a friend and works as described.

The gasket is not as firm as the original and leaks water and air. Also does not sit well in place, loose.Very dissatisfied.

These gaskets do not seal properly, or at all. They leak water, make a hissing and sucking noise in use, the CPAP machine reports a seal leak and error. Tried both gaskets, neither one works properly and now having difficulties with processing a return.

Just fit good
