INCREDIBLE PENCILS
WOW, these pencils are just fantastic, even though they are at the lower price range of expert quality. I normally use Polychromos and Prismacolours but was looking for a small set to take out and about, did a lot of research and have tried the cheaper Norris club and other ranges but the pigment wasn't that great, so thought I'd try these as the price was right. I have to say I am really very impressed. The pigment is bold and bright even with the slightest of pressure and the laydown effect is creamy and blends with other colours extremely well. They come in a sturdy, secure tin with tray inserts so well protected. The pencils boast a round barrel so easy to hold and each pencil is the colour of the lead and also displays colour and reference number on the shaft. I bought the 48 pack which for a small set again was surprised and the variety of colour variants. So so happy with these, now I wish I had got the full set because I truly think they are on par with alot of the top end market pencils out there...So will be saving my pennies and going to treat myself further.

Almost too good for the low price! 😍
I recently got my colouring books out again. Wanted to be a bit more creative with my colouring from now on.I've looked up lots of youtubers and what their favourite pencils to use are, most seem rather impressed with prismacolor premier and faber castelle polychromos, most seem to lean more towards one or the other with a few other pencil preferences thrown in. I was colouring with another brand of pencils (we've all heard of them, beginning with a 'C') but was hating the blend and they weren't quite pigmented enough for me not to go through the paper after a few go overs to blend it all together. I always thought I was just rubbish at colouring in, but now I realise it's all about the quality of your pencils/pens/markers etc.I came across Arteza experts and couldn't quite believe some of the reviews saying they're very similar to prismacolor and are a good budget version of them. They're wax based and come in a rather decent range of colours actually. My fav colouring book has double up pages so I decided to do a little test comparison.I'm amazed!! These are so perfect for under £20 for 48! They are super pigmented, smooth, they blend beautifully, doesn't feel at all like they're going to wear the paper out. I just love them. Can't recommend enough. There's a reason these have such a high star rating. Im often too lazy to leave reviews but I felt I had to for these as if it weren't for the reviews they had I wouldn't have bought them!!

A joy to use
I've only had these a few days but I am impressed. They look and feel very much like F-C's Polychromos range. However, they are wax-based so more akin to Prismacolor in their function.I am much more used to using oil-based pencils. These lay down their colour and blend differently. Having said that they are lovely to work with and I can see them becoming my "go to" pencils. The range of colours in the 48 set is nice and broad and should suit most users. The colour of each pencil is printed on the barrel. That is particularly useful when using the greens as the barrels are coloured to match the pigment. However, in some cases the barrel colour is not very accurate and doesn't reflect the colour of the lead. Forest Green, Emerald Green and Moss Green have very similar barrel colours but very different coloured lead cores. But that is nit-picking as overall they really are very good pencil and would suit beginners and professionals alike.

Fantastic set - long as you don't get a dodgy pencil in the set
Great quality pencils for the price. They shade well and don't require too much pressure. My only issue is the fact after one drawing session, my Ocean Blue shade pencil is now 25% smaller to the rest of my set due to the lead constantly breaking. Obviously it's a faulty pencil, however because of this I can only give 4 stars.

Good Budget Choice
First of all, I'm not an artist. I know there are a lot of people comparing this product to more expensive prismacolor ones. This is my first set of colouring pencils, I didn't want to splash money on a hobby which I wasnt sure whether I was going to enjoying it or not.If you are a beginner like me and if you have realistic expectations in terms of quality, and if you are on a budget, then this set is perfect for you. I'm enjoying a bit of blending, experimenting with different colour palettes. Wax core, I had no problem with shaving so far. I think they are soft, but again this is my first set, so I can't compare it. It came in a good packaging. I love the vibrant colours and I'm glad I purchased this one, as my aim is to only spend a couple of hours colouring as a hobby. If you are an artist, then it is a different story.

Amazing value for your money
Amazing value for your money. I wanted a smaller pack to use when I feel like coloring for fun, not thinking much about a picture etc.. I'm really impressed. They are acrually very nice pencils, very well presented in the box, easy to blend, very pigmented so you dont need to press hard. You just need to sharpen them when you get them. I find them a bit crumbly but that's the way they are. Im used to polychromos but I find these a bit eqsier to work with, they are definitely great for less experienced colourists, they work really well overall..

Lovely
I was initially going to buy Prismacolors, however, having read a lot of reviews on here about the Prismacolor pencils not being a genuine product, I opted for these. I thought at just over £22, they might be enough of a step up from cheap coloured pencils, and being described as soft/ wax based, I was hoping they will yield nice results.I'm not disappointed with them. The colour range in the 48 set is very good and the pencils blend and layer well allowing for different tones/ colours to be created relatively easily. The white pencil is soft and dense enough to be visible when applied over darker colours.
