I have 3 different arthritis's, plus I have Sjogren's, so light weight vacuums is all I can handle. I have bought 4 vacuums in the past few years and finally I found this Electrolux stick vacuum. The charge lasts about an hour, which works for me and my house. The power, plus crevice tools, pick up all the cat/dog hair and desert dust where we live here in New Mexico. I am 75 and a light weight good sucking vacuum is what I want and this works GREAT!! for usThe reason I did not give this 4 stars is I wish it could stand on it own when I stop vacuuming, otherwise I have to lean it or put it back on the charge.

It really has the power to do awesome cleaning. I am so happy with it...I still use my wonderful Electrolux Ambassador cannister from the 80s on the main floor but with this light weight powerful stick I can go up the stairs vacuuming as I go ...LOVE IT

I was SO excited when my new vacuum arrived. It came wonderfully packed (in ECO friendly/recyclable materials!!)…parts wrapped and all protected. Instructions were fairly easy to read-as they were pictures. If pictures aren’t your thing, the company has added a video assembly link. Assembly took no time. Once set up, the vacuum and docking stand is well designed and really looks fantastic and high quality. I like that it’s not overly large and bulky or requiring to be mounted on a wall. The vacuum is surprisingly lightweight. I feel the base design wise could be slightly tweaked…the access area to plug the charging cord in is fairly difficult to see and insert, and that’s with me having small hands/fingers. The groove to guide the plug so it’s not in the way is nice, but should be deeper. The current design, the cord falls out if you aren’t super careful. That about all I can review on this vacuum. I set it up to charge, and checked a few hours later. Nothing worked. I figured I didn’t have it set correctly on the charger. Readjusted, and checked back the next day. Still: not working. I disassembled. Reassemble and tried to charge. No luck. With the help of my husband we troubleshot per the instruction manual. Again, no luck. As a last resort, I contacted customer support. Customer service was very nice but I’m still in a non-working limbo. First, before proceeding, the vacuum needed registered. Easy peasy. After giving the model number and serial number, the product was not found in their system. Customer service (Electrolux not Amazon), said they are updating their systems to a few new models. While they can’t give a exact date on when their computers will be updated on this product info, an estimated time could be 30 days, maybe more, in which I will be called and the issue (hopefully) addressed at that time. They didn’t know if I should send it back now or if I dispose of, so now I have this huge box with a vacuum and parts needing to be stored for who knows how long.I do hope I’m able to get a working replacement, and if that’s the case, I will update my review with more positive feedback.Update: June 6, customer service called and followed up in an email, and said their computers were updated, my vacuum was registered and a replacement is being issued. I received my new vacuum about a week later. It charged and I was able to put it to use, finally!! It does have good suction and is so nice to use, on the hardwood floors while not fighting with a cord. It’s relatively quiet which is another plus. I do wish the head of the vacuum was larger. I’d say this one is half the size or a normal vacuum head. It was nice to use on my area rugs, but on carpet in the bedroom, it was very difficult to push, even with the different settings applied. The dust bin is very small, and could be much improved if there was a button to push to empty. In order to empty, you have to pull it off, take out a few filters empty, put together and snap back on. If someone has a pet, or small child, the bin will fill up fast and it would be tedious to empty and negate the ease of use of the cordless vacuum. I was able to vacuum my living room, kitchen and dining on a charge. I definitely would be able to vacuum my 1800sqf house in its entirety on a charge. (If it was all hardwood). I do think this vacuum is more suited for smaller spaces..small apartments, RV: and no carpeted areas. It’s a nice vacuum, but for the price, I expect a better overall product.

This stick vac is awesome. Easy to clean and very powerful. Runs for a long time on one charge. It came with extra battery too.This vacuum is expensive but it’s with the money.

We ordered this for our house in NY. We have another very popular cordless model at our condo in Florida.The vacuum arrived in a large heavy-duty box, with all the parts and accessories protected in individual bags and placed securely in separate compartments inside the box. Thankfully, they took the time to pack carefully as there was a large hole punched right through the side of the box when it arrived. Everything was fine.After you assemble the vacuum, if you've used other brands, the first thing you notice is this machine weighs more. The battery is bigger. The motor is bigger, and the dust/dirt canister is bigger. Not so much that it is tiring or awkward - just heavier.After building it you have to charge the battery. For this Electrolux chose a floor standing charger design as opposed to our other vacuum which uses a wall mounted charger. Both work fine. One you have to pick a spot on the wall and mount the charger block. The other stands on the floor and needs to be near an outlet. With the floor stand you can move it around as desired. Connecting the Electrolux was very easy, and the vacuum is held in position using strong magnets. Charging the Electrolux took about an hour. Once charged we gave it a go.Turning it on you notice the Electrolux beater brush head has a built-in light that is actually bright. There is a button to turn it on and a second button to choose a power level. No trigger! And there is only one tube between the motor and the beater brush head, but it is adjustable and you can change the height of the machine from 37" to 44". Very nice.Everything on the Electrolux is built really well. It feels like a combination of the lightweight typical battery units and a full-blown AC powered vacuum. So, it has the portability, but it is a little stronger and substantial.Turning on the Electrolux is an eye opener. It is very strong especially in Turbo mode. Vacuuming through the house, the debris canister fills quickly. We were shocked at the material being collected. However, the full canister revealed a weakness in the system.To empty the canister bin, you have to pull up on the end of the bin while twisting/turning it towards you. The canister is about 4" in diameter where you have to hold it. Turns out this lifting and turning action is very difficult for my wife. Her small hands have a hard time gripping the smooth, polished exterior surface of the canister. It's a shame Electrolux didn't put some kind of handle on the bottom of the canister to grab onto. Other than this issue, my wife is totally in love with this vacuum.The vacuum works well on all types of carpet and on hardwood and tile as well. When using it on hard surfaces it does not have a switch to turn off the beater brush.So, as I noted above my wife loves this vacuum. It comes with a narrow crevice tool and a small bristle brush that works better than expected. The vacuum does go through the battery pretty quickly especially if you use Turbo mode - my wife's favorite mode. I wish you could charge a second battery separately with the charger. Maybe they'll come out with an accessory. This machine could really use a spare.Compared to other products on the market I think the price for this Electrolux is very fair. I think the machine is built very well and works better than we expected. We're very happy with this Electrolux maching.
