Previously, I held reservations about matte screens. However, after installing matte screen protectors on my iPhone and iPads, I felt compelled to do the same for my Steamdeck OLED. To my surprise, I noticed no significant impact on clarity, color, or brightness. The only notable change was the complete elimination of all reflections, which is truly remarkable.Although the installation process was slightly more challenging than anticipated, this was primarily attributed to a slight warp in the installation frame provided. Consequently, I had to manually reposition the screen protector while gently lifting it. Despite this minor setback, the outcome was flawless.As a practical tip for those installing matte screen protectors, if you encounter a small bubble, use your thumb to apply gentle pressure while simultaneously rubbing the area. This technique should effectively remove the bubble, provided it is not caused by a speck of dust. I personally encountered a similar issue and required approximately 10 minutes of persistent pressure and rubbing to successfully remove the bubble.It is unfortunate that many individuals simply apply a screen protector without attempting to rectify any imperfections, labeling the device as defective. However, with a bit of effort and patience, it is possible to successfully remove any bubbles, ensuring a flawless finish.Having experienced the benefits of matte screens, I have no intention of ever opting for a glossy finish again. Excellent purchase. I have the glare screen edition and didn't want to pay extra 100+ for the non glare. This peace did Amazing! Works great, can see it in daylight and I feel like I didn't loose no quality.

Definitely makes a night and day difference didn't think I wanted the anti glare but man does it work considering i do play outside and in some places with alot of light.

They do the job well, alignment not a problem. They have an alignment guide bubbles almost not existent if you follow, the included instructions scratch resistance I have not tried to fit. It fits perfectly even with the mod case and or any kind of debrand skin personally, I have to leather ones.

The antiglare screen is a great product! I’ve ordered this 2 pack twice, only because my first steam deck stopped working so I put this on the replacement. I dropped my SD the other night & only the screen protector cracked, keeping the SD nice & safe.The installation is simple, it comes with an alignment tool which helped make it smoother to install. It looks great once put on & it’s truly antiglare, I use the SD outside in summer months & can see the screen with no problem.I’ve ordered multiple items from this brand & they’ve all been great! Def recommend.

Since I can’t get a refund for used/broken screen protectors that I threw away, I am going to write a review.The worst issue is definitely that it doesn’t get rid of the glare. Sure, it makes it so any lighting is dissipated throughout the screen, but it does this to such a degree that it’s more frustrating than normal glare. Rather than have a small amount of light that disappears in the screen, now it is spread over a larger area and appears at angles it previously wouldn’t. I never really had a problem with glare before, but figured it might be a nice feature to address but I was totally wrong because this makes it much more noticeable and actively hinders my ability to see the screen.Now when it comes to the installation kit, let me tell you, do NOT use the “guide” they provide. I tried with 4 different protectors to get one on correctly, and I did it the normal way of just lining it up myself and I was definitely more accurate than that thing. Despite snapping it in correctly, it can still line up the protector slightly off which due to the raised edges around the screen causes it to not fully seal in the corners which can only be remedied by fully taking it off and lining it up again (which in my case led to small dust particles getting on the screen protector sticky side and essentially ruining it). It also isn’t a guide where you place the protector in and then press down, no, it is just an outline for you to aim your protector in which is extremely difficult to line up without getting one or more edges stuck to the guide itself. And if you try to lift the guide off without verifying that one of the protector sides isn’t stuck on it, then you end up snapping a corner of the protector like I did with one of the 3 failures I had.I have never had so many issues with screen protector installation before, and while it’s my fault for using the guide in the first place, it is the companies fault for providing such a poor one.
