Blackout Buddy Blackout - Roller Blind for Home and Travel (Medium)

This item is fantastic! I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Gro! Anywhere blind. I was hesitant when I saw some reviews saying the Velcro dots were rubbish but I was pleasantly surprised! As long as you clean/dry the window frame and use all the dots these blinds don’t budge. You get two in a pack. One blind covered over half the window space and although too long to attach to the bottom frame it just seats neat and flat on the window ledge. I bought some extra Velcro to use ON the blind so the two overlapping blinds could be joined together and really create no light gaps. As you can see from the pics there is barely any light coming through at all! Great quality item, nice thick, quality material and comes in a nice carrier bag. Baby sleeps so much better. It’s even a little too dark for him now so have to use a small nightlight lol

I love these blinds. They block out the light and seem sturdy. if only there was another way to hang them other than Velcro. They DO NOT STAY UP! No matter what we do! My husband is fab at DIY and has made a frame, wrapped these around it, and put the frame in the window by standing it on the window sill and pushing it up against the window. I took them away when we went to a guest house. The curtains there were eyelet curtains, and I had the idea of taking clothes pegs. Luckily I had as the curtains in the room were rubbish, I used loads of pegs to peg these blinds on all sides to the front of the curtains, hey presto, darkness. I recommend these if you want to peg them up or can invent a way to use them.

I have been using these black out curtains for the past few months in my cinema room and I have been very pleased with their performance.The curtains hang up using sticky hooks which hold the curtains in place well if enough are used. I have found myself trying to be too economical, leading to them becoming removed from my window frame. Thankfully, more than enough are supplied in the packaging, and this has been easy to resolve.When the blinds are in place, almost all the light is blocked from entering the room. Indeed, these curtains have been more effective than I anticipated! The quality of the curtains feels good, and I have no doubt these will last a significant length of time. Highly recommended!

Very easy to install. Velcro pads stuck to window frame, and then Velcro strip on back of curtain sticks to the Velcro pads. I fitted these to a double width widow, easily enough overlap to cover the area, but I did need to use bluetac to hold the two halves together to prevent light seeping between the overlap.Not totally sure about the travel aspect though. Apart from needing another set of Velcro pads, you would also be sticking the pads on the window frame of where you were staying. The owners might not be best pleased about that. However for me that is not what I bought them for, so not an issue.

Generally a really good product. It's better than other brands given that it sticks to the window frame rather than the window itself so it not only covers the edges better, but doesn't smudge the glass. I'd reccomend using all of the many velcro stickers they give you. I got lazy and only used 4 per sheet and they began falling off but that was my own fault for not using them all, as using them all would spread the weight across more evenly and also helps keep the sides covered!

Wow, game changer for my bedroom. I wish I'd bought these sooner! I have a baby and the light evenings and mornings are not fun when your child doesn't sleep anyway so these help massively especially when she's napping in the day. I do have to say don't use the velcro you get with it. The little circles just come away and it falls down all the time but I bought a strip of velcro and that works perfect for them. I'm so pleased with this and would definitely recommend (the strips of velcro aren't alot of money) I wish I'd also taken it on holiday to the caravan!!

I bought these for my small stairs windows to stop the dog being woken as soon as the sun comes up.... they are bigger than I thought, the Velcro stickers have good adhesive and they block out the light... does the job fantastically, no more getting up at sunrise!

This product had been working well, you need to use lots of the adhesive Velcro tabs for it to stay up but I was pleased that it had for around 6 weeks and I periodically checked that the tabs weren’t ruining the window. Unfortunately after a sunny day the adhesive melted onto the window, this is an absolute nightmare to get off and I cannot recommend the product as a result.
