better than what I was expecting

This ironing board is a must for anyone tailoring, sewing and altering suits. It is very sturdy and I have no worry that it will collapse with pressure because it has a metal frame. It sets conveniently on top of my regular ironing board when in use and is lightweight and easy to move when finished. It has two sides which is fantastic. I use it to get professional results pressing sleeve hems and cuffs. Without it there is no way to press a sleeve flat. I use it in all my sewing and tailoring.

This ironing board is so convenient for my dress shirts and blazers. I have always wanted to get the perfect sleeve and with this I don't feel like I always have to send my shirts to the dry cleaners. It makes ironing sleeves EASY!

I found that while it would iron a sleeve very nicely without creating a crease, it was a lot of bother struggling to turn the sleeve around the board. Since you can't iron more than 1/4 of the sleeve at a time without turning it, it ended up taking me about 4-5 minutes per sleeve. Ultimately not really any time saver.If you want the best possible ironed sleeves without any crease and you don't mind the extra time investment, then this product is for you!

This ironing surface is extremely convenient for large or small projects. Very happy with this purchase.

I finally ordered this after way too long. I ordered the padded chest and sleeve option as I wanted more versatility. After reading the reviews, I knew to remove the cover and take off the tape on both sides to avoid a burning smell. Makes no sense to have tape on this board. I plan to make another cover for both sides. It was great ironing the sleeves of my husband's dress shirts. I don't even know if he realized the difference. LOL!

It is pretty solid metal. I don’t see it breaking any time soon.
