After researching several waterless oil diffusers. I decided on this one because of the star rating. Since my purchase, there have been other ratings that I think are false as to the sound of the diffuser. This diffuser is completely silent. The mist is so fine that it doesn't leave any oil anywhere on my antique table that it's sitting on. Which was concern to me in the beginning. It covers a larger area than most of the diffusers listed. It will send a scent through my entire living room and diningroom with no problem. It's remote controlled which is excellent for setting the amount you want of sent in the room and how long you want it to run. I turn it on and just forget about it, it's so easy! I have tried 3 other defusers. One was so loud that I couldn't sleep with it in my room while I was trying to sleep. You could hear the motor running every 30 seconds which was annoying. I sent it back. If you check out the specs against other large commercial diffusers on TV, this one covers twice as much square footage for last money. I just bought a second one for my bedroom. Because of how well it works for the price, the size of the Diffuser and the quality of the Diffuser made. Since purchasing the first one, it's come down over a $80 bucks.So I purchased a second one.. You won't be disappointed in this unit it works very well i'm completely satisfied! The price is significantly higher than most But for the size of the unit and how much square footage it runs it's Very well worth it.! I love this thing! No more plug ins to change all over the house. Another fact is that it uses very little oil. I bought 16 oz of an oil that i'd like, and i've used less than an inch in the little tiny 4 oz bottle that it holds inside in the last 2 months. Now my own home smells like a very expensive hotel.. I can't say the name brand but the name of the smell is Escapade. It's my favorite after trying 4 scents on that line. You can also use other therapeutic oils that you can buy from your favorite apothecany switch them out during the different seasons in example, pumpkin spice, tea tree. Anything you want. I particularly like an orange smell That's good for stress. Just don't use one that's made from orange peels. You literally just put a little alcohol in the jar. In between. To clear the different scente and then put in a new scent, it's very easy. I bought several different scents to put in during the Christmas season. No more spending a fortune at a bath store!

The lights would indicate it's working, but no fragrance is delivered. For this price point, the unit is a joke. It's going back obviously. The instructions are limited and read as though penned by a first grader. Don't waste your time/money. On second thought, we tried a second time. Scent is delivering. You HAVE to make certain you tighten the housing unit correcctly. You might think it's secure, but scent will not deliver if it is not locked in tight. I'm on the fence right now, we'll see how the unit delivers. The instructions/trouble shooting aid remain rudimentary.

I would like to get a refund, but it stopped working just after the warranty of Amazon was over now I’m stuck with a very expensive piece of}%^*+=

Love the long lasting smell.and the ease of filling up
