Last year, I helped my parents scan and digitize ALL their old film slides - they had hundreds and hundreds! After getting prints made, the next step was deciding how to organize and store that many prints. This plastic box was the perfect answer (we bought 2)! I love that the plastic is clear so we can easily and quickly view contents. I love that there are all the individual containers within because this allowed me to group my parents' slides/photos by year and/or occasion. I was even able to type tiny labels that I taped on top of each individual holder to help identify contents, and with the clear plastic, the labels can be easily seen even with the main lid closed.One potential downside - the plastic is a little flimsy. So I could see this product easily cracking or the hinges or snap closures easily breaking if not handled gently (or if dropped or if heavy items are stored atop it). If you take good care of it and treat it gently, or if it's photo storage you don't need to open and use very often (more for archiving like in my parents' case), it shouldn't be a problem. This wouldn't be good storage for traveling with or for hard/frequent use. For extra protection, my parents' 2 cases are stored in the perfect-fitting cardboard boxes in which they originally arrived. For the price and for my parents' purpose, this case is ideal!

I like to have a place for everything and everything in its place. This storage box enabled me to get some photos from the past labeled and organized. I didn’t count the pics but it definitely holds a lot of them. I would recommend this product.

These are so nice for old photos. Keeps them safe. Having the individual boxes inside keeps your photos organized

I needed something to organize and store my food and flower seeds and this item was recommended.The insert boxes are the perfect size to hold multiple seed packets each. I was even able to store 15-20 onion sets in a couple! My printed labels stick well to them, but still come off easily if I run through or change the contents.My only complaint is that a few of the inserts don’t snap closed. The catches are either formed incorrectly or are too soft to hold. This wasn’t a big issue for me, I just used a rubber band to keep them closed rather than returning the whole item.The outer box is stronger and sturdier with strong holding latches.

I use this for my collection of recipes on 4x6 index cards. Works great for photos, too.

Bought these for my wife for Christmas, while I gave them a 5-star review, I should change that to a negative five because my wife must hate them. All the pictures that we have been printing off our phones are still piled up three feet high and she hasn't touched these cases. I guess I am just going to have to do it myself.
