No, it’s way too small it’s only for a mini fridge.

That's exactly what these are intended for, assuming your washer and dryer will fit on it. These are fairly small and more intended for use under mini-fridges, so the washer and dryer would have to be quite small to be able to fit. I personally use these as small risers for video game machines, and they're fantastic for that. I'd recommend measuring your appliances before you order any. I know for certain my own washer and dryer would not fit on one of these.

So this stand is for someone who rarely moves their appliance as the legs must be shortened?

The stand I purchased was the one with the legs only. I have moved it twice since I installed it and it has held up really well. This stand is very well built and I extended the legs to it's maxium height. However, if you want to move it a lot, I recommend the wheels.

Will the pads slide easily on a laminate floor? I intend to use this as an undecounter printer stand.

its flat on the bottom and round with dimple pitted holes with stiff plastic, it slide pretty easy or you can buy pads to make it not slide
