Only used once prior to my Review, but overall, the 3 settings are good and a clear lid so you can view the food without having to remove the lid

This was my first slow cooker and the instructions to set up were super easy. I recommend giving it a wash first and then leaving it on high for an hour or so with some water in to get rid of the plastic-y smell. I've now used it several times for various things from chilli to a gammon joint, to chocolate fudge, and I've had perfect results every time. Cleaning is easy, and it cools down very quick too. Highly recommend and a bargain for the price.

This is a really nice size bowl - perfect for 2 or 3 people. Pop your meat in with some stock and leave it on low for a few hours. Beautiful, tender, and tasty meat.The cooker is very easy to use with a single knob. The instruction book contains a few recipes to get you going, or if you want to try something more adventurous than a stew.I'm really pleased with mine.

Purchased after the birth of my baby, to make meal prep easier. I can only wonder why I didn't purchase one years ago?! This should be an 18th Birthday gift for every young person leaving home. It's so simple to use, recipes are easy to find on the internet and frankly, we haven't had a bad meal yet! Slow cooking infuses so much flavour and tenderness. You can prepare the meal at a time convenient to you and prep can be done beforehand in many cases. Makes ideal baby food for the later stages of weaning, since everything is soft and easy to mash. Pot is easy to clean, either in the dishwasher or by hand. Miserly on the old electricity, you'll find your oven is often redundant after purchasing one. Good instruction booklet to get you started too.
