Warm, soft with foil super hat

This beanie is very well made with bright colors. This is also very warm, comfortable and fits very well.

My husband asked for a new Columbia hat with the Omni heat lining for Christmas. Columbia didn’t have any in stock and I finally found one scrolling through Amazon. He absolutely loves this hat - he is bald and other hats still left his head cold when we had rain or hard winds. With this hat the Omni heat keeps the heat in and his head warm.

Very snug fitting cap. Heat is generously provided to your skull. Color is very eye appealing. Don't leave home without it on a cold day.

ColorsColumbia produces these beanies in a variety of attractive colors. Pick a set to complement other clothing, match school and sports team colors, or brighter colors to increase visibility during outer activities, e.g, while walking or running. I chose Clematis Blue for its visibility during outdoor use (see photo). The red and orange options are also bright choices.MaterialThe exterior material is made of a textured acrylic fiber while the interior lining is a softer polyester. The interior dome also has a sewn-in, heat-reflective material (see photo) that will preserve warmth in cooler weather conditions.SizingSizing of this beanie may be problematic for some wearers. It has a one-size-fits-all-unisex design that runs smaller than expected. If this product was produced in multiple sizes, then I would rate it as an adult mens medium. While beanies are expected to fit firmly, not all wearers would find the coverage to be adequate or comfortable. Since the fabric has limited stretchability, don’t expect to increase its size by stretching the fabric because this process may damage the integrity of the fabric.CleaningThe material is only hand washable and should be carefully re-shaped after washing to preserve its shape and size.

Just had a 3 miles walk at 25 degrees with wind 15 mph and feeling great: warm, comfortable, no sweat.

Thus cap seems well-made but it is shorter than a typical knit cap. This only comes to the top of the ear so there’s no coverage on your ears. Some people prefer this style but not my son. I returned it.

Super warm, almost too warm for moderate temps. Very comfortable and soft.
