Automatic Salt and Pepper Grinder Set

Worth it.

After having this for only one year, they no longer work. The charger doesn’t work either. Spend the extra $15 for a good set.

I was a bit put off at first because _I_ had not read the product description well enough. However, I was quickly converted.First off, I really like that they charge by USB-C rather than requiring replaceable batteries, or having a proprietary charger – I've got USB-C cords all over the place. It just required finding a charger with a USB port – also an easy task, and the charging plate makes a nice stand for them, albeit rather informal looking.They're easy to open and close with a little fiddling at first to figure out how they align, if you're like me and didn't look closely before taking the cap off the opening, but there were no issues filling them or getting the lids back on the chambers.Most importantly, these grind well, and it's easy to reset to whatever degree of fineness or coarseness you prefer. Also, there's a light built in so that you can actually see where your salt, pepper, or other seasoning item of choice is actually going as the grinder does its job, and when there's enough. That's a brilliant feature which has been needed on salt and pepper shakers and grinders since time immemorial.The thing that threw me initially when I opened the box was discovering that they aren't turned on by gravity, i.e., by turning them over. The issue is that I have arthritis in my thumbs, so buttons can be difficult. These aren't. They're perfectly comfortable to operate. And truth be told, I'm a bit relieved that I won't have to worry that if they were to fall off a table or counter, and end up head over tail they'd be grinding away while I tried to retrieve them. They'd be far less likely to land so that something would be right up against the button.So this is very much a win-win for us, as we both love freshly ground salt and pepper.Thank you very much for reading my review. The media could not be loaded. These automatic grinders are all pretty much the same except for size and color. I didn't see a change in grain size when using this grinder. If anything its 1x to 2x if that. It could also be my Pepper corn size. It works, doesn't leave finger prints on the unit, saves me from hand cranking, not sure what else to add in. I did have the course level knob pop when going to the highest course level. I was able to spin it around again and catch but it seems a bit out of level. That's my only con to this device.

The media could not be loaded. As long as you don’t forget to charge them they are fantastic. Very stylish, super easy to use and have nice cute light that makes them fun. I appreciate the style the most and happy to have them in the kitchen. Personally would prefer battery operated but charging isn’t issue really. Seems like a great quality set and I happy to have it in my kitchen. My friends said it’s very fancy.

These are fantastic. Very simple to use, you just unscrew the little window on the front, fill with salt or pepper, replace the window and they are ready to go. You can adjust the grind with a dial on the bottom. They came with some charge out of the box and I have only had to charge them once in the month that I have had them.They make adding salt and pepper and breeze, much easier than the manual grinder and the motors are strong enough for a quick and fine grind. They use a charging base which is nice so that both units can be charged at once. I definitely recommend checking these out if you are looking for auto-grind salt and pepper mills.

The media could not be loaded. Having a charging port instead of batteries is already a winner in my book. But this sleek looking design is a bonus nice addition too. Easy to use. Just hold the button down. Definitely would recommend!

The grinders are great. Easily adjustable, and work well. Having the easy recharge in the base you put them on means you never have to worry about the batteries running out. I just wish it came with a standard AC cord instead of a USB-C, as that just means I have to supply my own USB adapter, or have USB outlets.
