how can you tell when it is fully charged and how do you put the batteries in? It does say it on the lid

After you plug it in, the light goes from red to green. Green light indicates that it's charged! At the bottom of the Wine opener, you'll see underneath where you put the batteries. However, you should decide if you want to use batteries or charger. Don't do both or the batteries will corrode.

Is this a rechargeable electric bottle opener?

Yes, it is. It works with 4 AA rechargeable batteries and can open one bottle in 6 seconds, up to 120 bottles.

Can the charger be used internationally?

We've only used the wine opener in the comfort of our home. However, I don't see why you couldn't, although some countries would require an adapter.

does this work with the bigger mouth bottles like a magnum?

I have not tried it with a magnum.

The media could not be loaded. I wouldn’t recommend this product.It takes way to long to pull the cork and the motor struggles with most wine corks, even with fully charged batteries.
