Great for the plane
I ruptured my eardrum in January and still letting my ears heal. I got these to protect my ears from the pressure of flying as to not aggravate the healing process. They worked wonderfully. No pressure, no pain, very comfortable, stayed in place, and I could still hear my surroundings perfectly.

They actually work!
I have had trouble with flying my entire life, my eardrums always feel like they are rupturing during the final descent of each flight. I’ve used the ear planes version of these that sometimes help slightly but generally still get excruciating pain at some point during the descent. I found Mack’s on Amazon and got a pair. They are magical. I was on three flights recently, all of varying distances/time in flight, and barely even had discomfort! No pain whatsoever, I had no idea flying could be so carefree. If you have ear pain on flights, buy Mack’s. Happy flying.

Works pretty well
Not quite the miracle cure for “why do my ears feel like they’re being crushed by an invisible vice at 30,000 feet,” but pretty darn close. They took my usual mid-flight ear agony down to a mild, polite annoyance—like my eardrums were just slightly offended instead of staging a full mutiny. Comfortable, reusable, and discreet… though I still wouldn’t use them to eavesdrop on the couple arguing two rows back. Would fly with again.

Worked perfectly
I have very sensitive ears to pressure changes and have ear pain on random days due to barometric pressure. I was terrified to go on a plane and possible have prolonged ear pain/problems while in the air. I followed directions and put them in prior to take off and after landing. My ears didn’t pop at all during the whole flight. Some reviews said you could take them out once you got to cruising altitude but I didn’t want to take the chance and just left them in the whole time. The flights were all less than 4 hours and it was comfortable in my ears (adult woman) for the duration. I could still hear but sounds were definitely muffled. Con was obviously you are unable to use the airplane earbuds if you want to watch a movie/tv but I was just glad for ear comfort. I’m sure if you had over ear headphones you could get around that if it is important to you. Highly recommend for anyone that struggles with pressure change.

Have a good seal and are comfortable.
I always wear these at music concerts to protect my hearing. They seal well and reduce the sound level to a comfortable level.

They work!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are very helpful. They kept my ears from popping on a long flight. Particularly helpful if you have any sort of congestion

Help with pressure
I give this five stars because of my going and returning flight. I took a flight out and this was my first time experiencing so much ear pain when the plane was landing and once off the plane, I had an air bubble so painful that I didn’t want to experience that pain again. I did online research and found this item and decided to give them a try. I did however, did feel a slight air pressure when returning flight home but no pain. Once off the plane I didn’t have any air bubbles. I also notice that my flying out flight flew higher than my return flight and maybe that made a difference but at this time I will definitely try again. I will be flying out again in a few weeks and will do a follow up review.

Reduces pressure but not all
I love these earplugs. They are definitely better than earplanes. However, I did notngive 5 stars because on some flights I do still feel the cabin pressure. Not as intense, but it does still hurt. I did download the earplanes app that tells you when to insert and remove the earplugs (I wish Mack's had this) and it helped a bit more, but not all the way. I hope Mack's releases a pair that can remove all pressure. I am happy overall though especially due to the value for the money. They are very durable and not too big, making them easy to insert and remove. These definitely helped to ease my flying anxiety due to my ear pain. Thanks Mack's!
