How would this work with a PlayStation 4?

It works great…..BUT......you have to buy a console adaptor first, what is a console adaptor? well Sony and Microsoft don’t make money selling consoles they make it with games and peripherals, so that means third party suppliers are locked out. A console adaptor like the “XIM APEX” $99 allows you to use your PS4 or XBOX console with almost any keyboard and mouse or Grifta and mouse or PC steering wheel etc. Console adaptors are 100% legal because they don’t work without attaching a genuine PS4 or XBOX gamepad to the console. Take a look at the Grifta XIM Overwatch video on YouTube and see for yourself.

Can the controller work on USB cable connected to the computer?

No. The Grifta Solo controller works only via the wireless dongle, but you can play and charge at the same time.

I can't pull that link up, but I cannot recommend this device at all. I couldn't get it to work successfully with the latest build of Xpadder on my PC. It's a great and neat idea, but the execution is so poor it's almost a joke. You'd be better off finding another product.

Will this work with the Nvidia Shield?

The Grifta Solo is a standard HID input device with controller and keyboard type input, so in theory it should.
