The folded size is approximately 1x4x1 1/2 inches. They may be re-used but it can be likened to folding a road map or Kleenex. After use, I defy anyone to refold them to fit in the bag in which they came.

Are these very loud compared with the cheap emergency blankets?

Quieter than tin foil, but similar.

Are these single use or multi use blankets?

It depends on the use. These are a little better than standard Mylar blankets but not as good as SOL Heatsheets. Re-packing them into their packaging can be a challenge. I do like the size, and the camo print on the one side, but I wouldn't expect more that one or two uses from it.
